Title: Hello

ap215 - June 24, 2004 08:54 PM (GMT)
Hey i just got a email reguarding this site and i have to say this a tremendous board :good:, i'm proud to be here with all the gore fans and there's no question i'm frustrated with what the bush administration has done to our country and it is time that this administration be replaced. I've had it with their lies and it is time that this country needs a change and i promise i will do everything i can to help out to get this administration out of office. Again it is great to be here and i'll post here more often.

earthmother - June 24, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
ap215--Hmmm. Name sounds familiar. Don't I know you from AgDems? Well, whatever. Howdy! :D

GSC Admin - June 24, 2004 09:23 PM (GMT)
Hello there! Great to have you here! Make sure you login into your account next time though were your posts will count. Again, great to have you!

ap215 - June 24, 2004 09:46 PM (GMT)
Yeah unfortunately i have a little problem with this registering thing,i went to register and i put down all my info my screename, password etc and although i did see my screename when it said welcome the newest member,i didn't see it under the welcome forum all it said was welcome guest. Hopefully this will be corrected.

bluebutterfly - June 25, 2004 05:33 PM (GMT)
I keep logging in but not being logged in. :bad:

GSC Admin - June 25, 2004 06:51 PM (GMT)
Ok guys, I think this may fix it:

Cookies
Sometimes, problems with browser cookies occur. To solve this take the following steps:
Internet Explorer: On the top of your (Internet Explorer) browser go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Cookies. Then go to Delete Files in the same window, and after that click on settings under temporary internet files. Make sure that newer versions of stored pages are checked automatically. Then make sure the amount of disk space to be used for the files matches the amount if time you are on the web and how many sites you go to. 1192 MB should be enough. Then go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy (on the top) -> move the solider so it shows medium or low.
Mozila: Tools -> Cookie Manager -> Manage Stored Cookies -> Remove all Cookies.
Firefox: Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy (on your left) -> make sure the option for enabling cookies is selected (if not select it) -> clear -> OK.
MSN Explorer: More Choices (on the top) -> Settings -> (on your left) show all settings -> Change your cookie settings -> Change Now.

bluebutterfly - June 26, 2004 01:45 AM (GMT)
I have aol, no tools option on my menu. I remember when I had it last and I used to delete my cookies but now I can't even find any.

earthmother - June 26, 2004 01:17 PM (GMT)
Oh, dear lord, not the cookie monster! I hope people are able to get around this problem. Personally, I didn't have any difficulty registering, but then, my cookie setting is already at low. I know that Julia hasn't been posting here, Chris, because she keeps getting "fatal errors" when she tries to register. I'll suggest this fix to her and see if it makes any difference.

Well i just did everything GSC just posted and so far nothing,i guess this is what i'm gonna stick for now.

Guest - June 27, 2004 03:39 AM (GMT)
Oh wait now i figured what the problem is,the reason why i don't see my screename when i go to log on is because i registered on every website i go to,but hey it's ok and i appreciate the help you guys are doing for me so i'll stick with the unregistered part even though i'm technically a member and i can also post.

ap215 - June 27, 2004 03:40 AM (GMT)

Brian, hardcore conservative here who inadverntly stumbled onto your board. :banned:

ErinB - June 28, 2004 03:24 PM (GMT)
Hardcore conservative ay?

Welcome to the home of the hardcore Gore supporters.

Tell me, if you are a conservative...what do you believe in conserving?

Navybrat - June 29, 2004 03:01 PM (GMT)
Hello. Hi, Erin, I see you're here, too!

I just went to check my forum board at The Political Monitor Forum, and found a message inviting people to come to this board.

While other boards might get offended at having their posters invited elsewhere, I am not, and I wanted to thank you for letting me and others know about this board. It's my belief we all need to work together and do what we can to save our country, and as I strongly support Al Gore, I'm glad to find another place that supports him.

I extend an invitation in return for anyone else who would like an additional place to express their views. Maybe, with more boards working together, between us we can get the truth out to at least a few more people.

I look forward to posting here, and to meeting new people!

ErinB - June 29, 2004 03:29 PM (GMT)
Welcome, welcome, welcome, Navybrat! Earthmother and I both here too. Yes, we are all one in this in support of Al Gore.
Haven't been on the Political Monitor Forum lately, will check it out again.

Navybrat - June 29, 2004 03:47 PM (GMT)
hehehe! nothing much happening on mine, traffic still low, it takes a long time to build a good board. I just keep on posting and hoping, I do get visitors but most of 'em just read and don't post. So I'm hoping that, at least, they're getting some good info to counter the propaganda!

I'm happy to see ya here, and earthmother, too! Always love your posts. ;)

FreeBird - June 29, 2004 04:24 PM (GMT)
:coolwink: Good luck on your new board!

ErinB - June 29, 2004 04:59 PM (GMT)

Hardcore conservative ay?

Welcome to the home of the hardcore Gore supporters.

Tell me, if you are a conservative...what do you believe in conserving?

Conserving government taxation.
Conserving government spending.
Conserving government growth.
Conserving our rights.
Conserving our freedoms.

Assuming you are a liberal  , what are you liberating?

Brian - June 30, 2004 06:16 AM (GMT)

Hmmm Then I guess you do not like the current administration that is in the White House now.
Government taxation...well yes if you are rich.
Government spending and growth? Are you kidding? We went from a multitrillion dollar surplus to a multi trillion dollar deficit.
RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS? I am all for conserving that as well...wish Ashcroft was.

Sounds like we agree on most things..cool with me. :)

Yes, I must say I am a liberal...I'm a tree-hugging, bleeding heart, peace lovin liberal who thinks Al Gore is the greatest!

Liberating the People of course....

GSC Admin - June 30, 2004 06:34 AM (GMT)
Welcome Brain. Why not sign up and have an account? We tolerate the other side here as long as you do not bash Al Gore or get out of hand. Other than that, have a great time!

FreeBird - June 30, 2004 04:14 PM (GMT)
   MY message for GEORGE BUSH!

Sorry folks I decided to remove the very "offensive poster" telling Our President what I thought!!! It included the "F" word and I didn't want to use it!

****N*O*T*E****

BUT HEY..........IF OUR VICE-PRESIDENT (Dick-head Cheney) CAN USE THE "F" WORD THEN WHY THE HECK SHOULDN'T I

Hmmm :?: :o  :bad: Come to think of it..............."two wrongs don't make a right" and I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE CHENEY ANYWAY!!! :dripple:

Yeh, Cheney says it and Bill Frist, the Senate Majority Leader doesn't even complain about it. If a democrat had said that word on the Senate floor can you imagine the uproar those holier than thou Republicans would have made? They would be calling for censure no doubt.

FreeBird - June 30, 2004 05:16 PM (GMT)
Yes, ErinB. :o hypocrisey is the "rule of the day" it would seem for the Republican Party  :dripple:

HERE'S ANOTHER TIDBIT FOR YA:

Question: Can you guess who plans to make the :P MOST MONEY :P from the UPCOMING "REPUBLICAN CONVENTION"???

Answer: None other than New York Cities finest ESCORT SERVICES :D

Don't get me wrong ........ I have nothing against "call girls, so-called MODELS or aspiring actresses" but I wonder if the MORAL MAJORITY FAITHFULL will ALSO partake of their services???   :D

Hmmmm? If those hotel walls had ears!!!! :dripple: :D :D

I don't care to register. I am soon to be moving to France and will have little time for message boards, but thanks for the invite.

With regards to Bush, no I am not happy with his spendthrift ways nor his lack of willingness to cut government waste. However last go round and next, I consider him to be the lesser of two evils. UNFORTUNATLY!

Regarding the "F" bomb. I think it was a very measured responce... Spread lies and slander like that about me, then we meet face to face. One of us will not walk away.

I'm against them.

oH yeaH Im new here. I run that little place you see linked on my siggy. CDJackson started a request thread at IF and that's where I got the link. :good: I've linked this place onto my sig at TSB. I think I'm gonna like it here.

BTW Freebird and ErinB, your names sound very familiar. Freebird might be a common sn but I'm curious about what other forums you guys may also be visiting. :)

:coolwink: Hello Everyone! I'm new here. I just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Oregon and this election season has been very exciting for us here (in Ore.). I'm a "Gen X Kid" and it seems we (Gen X) have recently replaced 'MTV' with 'CNN'. It is a little strange, but not a bad thing.
Five days and counting. . . It's CRUNCH TIME!
