Title: Survived FLU AGAIN! CLIMATE Change?
Description: What is the CDC NOT Telling US?

The Paraclete - May 1, 2008 07:33 PM (GMT)
Sorry to be gone so long...I just survived my 5th upper respiratory infection in a 12 month period...so as I sit here downing clindamycin which is used to treat MRSA (super-staph) infections, I ask myself...Just WHAT in the Yell is going on in this nation?

All those pages missing from the CDC report this year...what are we NOT being told? We have heard NOTHING since the Anthrax Letters about ANYTHING being passed around...Here's how it goes...the 3-year-old HAD her 'flu' shot...she came home from daycare not feeling very 'good' for about 2 days...in THAT time she passed this 'virus' to both her mother and myself...Her mother is yet to recover from this affliction...she is partially asthsmatic so I had to get a Primatene Mist Epinephrine Inhaler for her because she still cannot breath right... :!:

I have a 'theory'...I say illegals are bringing these disease germs into our nation...and because of the changes in the "climate" from 'earth heating'...(I'd say 'global warming' but conservatives won't believe you if you say that...LOL!)...anyway THAT 1 to 2 degree overall change in our climate is the difference between germs being KILLED by the 'cold' and PROPAGATING like 'wildfire'...not because of the 'heat' in itself, but because of the OVERABUNDANCE of 'rainfall' moisture providing an environment for disease to develope...we also saw mosquitoes arrive here 'earlier' than normal...we are also seeing 485 Tornadoes here in our nation so far when the yearly average is about 298...so what IS going on?
:wtf:

As for myself...well I have 30 days left and then no 'computer' again...(how many times has THIS happened to me in the LAST 8 YEARS?)...I don't know if I am even getting my tax refund...and my job sucks...but I MUST get a laptop and a DVCam in the next 30 days or I am finished...as for on-line, well I will get ONE hour at the library until I can get my own machine...and you can't do much in an hour...so as I get over this affliction, I am wondering how long I can be on-line and what I can do to geta link from home to use...so are my problems...but I will make best use of the time I have left now...wish me luck and God's will in finding a computer soon! ;)

Here ya go, Papabear. You can read the redline version of Julie Gerberding's testimony and compare it with the edited version.

Hope you get well soon.

Something Prof Gore wrote about me hit me harder much later on after reading it again and I think it applies to you and me both Papa Bear?

He stated; "the burden of poverty can be crushing"---He then goes on to say that familes and people like us "STILL are rich in spirit and have dignity and hope for a better future for their children."

I never knew how poor I really was compared to America that is???

Prof Gore NEVER said that getting a graduate degree would lift us out of poverty!!!!

He actually KNEW the odds were against us, but hey what ya gonna do, crush the only real hope or chance a person has by telling them they can only hope to be one in a million?

I had deceived myself by letting Big Business and POP culture fool me into thinking I was in the mainstream when I was on the outside looking in!

Prof Gore has seen cases like us time and time again. Oh sure he was and is damn proud of us for trying, for continung to work, pray, hope, do all we can to give our grandson a fighting chance at what???? JUST A FREAKING CHANCE AT A HOME FOR GODS SAKE???

Just the textbook standard American dream, for that child, all he can talk about is, "I hope to own a brick home someday, Oompa!" (he thinks for now that will help him better in a Tornado).

Nothing, I mean nothing beats the family you are born into, Warren Buffet rants!

I just never really knew I was that far down the ladder, I actually thought graduating in the top ten percent would open doors or something?

Ya know who did the best among my friends that lived and that is not many ya see cause they too were on the lower class side and culture killed them one way or another?

The Bi sexual or mostly gay ones did OK, cause the Gay culture takes care of their own and they seem to have money--However, the poorer gay ones did die of AIDS!

SEX, SEX, SEX, those that used SEX, women, gay, whatever, used their sassy, their sex, well ODD or is it that they got the home, the brick home, they got the jobs, they got the most out of America, at least in my caste system.

My poor dumb wife married for love and wasted her good looks!

She should have hid her lying eyes and married a man with a fat wallet!

HEY, Have I told everyone lately how much I appreciate you being my sounding board lately!

This gonna pass soon and I will miss is the rest of eternity!

We collectively were the best class of people I would ever dare to be allowed to hang out with and argue with!!!!

I wish you all the best of everything!

blue...Al Gore DID give us something to help us improve our own lives! It's called Current TV...all you need is your computer...a$200 DVcam with a firewire or USB connection, and the time to edit the video you shoot...once uploaded to Current...it is voted on for quality and merit by you and your peers...if it greenlights then it is put on the air, and YOU get paid for it!

Al did this for ALL of us to be able to tell our stories...not for nothing like you get from You Tube...but for compensation...that means CASH! Money to tell your story! Imagine that! But what Al didn't expect was that most of us would not be able to afford the camera! When Current was first conceptualized...Al was going to provide the cams to 2000 reporters...but he found that many young people already had their gear, so he went on that instead...but Al Gore knows this...if you can afford $600 for your computer and $200 for a camera...and you are willing to burn the oil then you can make content that will pay you back 10 times! Current pieces run from 30 seconds to 15 minutes in length on average, so the pods are easy to make!

You may say well, even if I HAVE the equipment, I am still NOT trained to produce 'video'...Rod, I worked in broadcasting for 15 years in radio & TV...I have a 4 year BA degree in Broadcast Telecommunications...and I swear to you, I can teach you everything you need to know about producing video in TWO WEEKS!

It's as easy as grabbing that camera and going out and gathering footage...many people want to tell their stories...you can even tell your own story on a series of video pods...and get paid...$500...then $500...then $750...and then $1000 per interview pod you do...if you are REAL good at it then Current gives you a comission...THAT is a monthly payment in the thousands for future works...if you are GOOD in telling YOUR story and the stories of OTHERS as well!...Or even if you are quite efficient at producing 5 minute rants of serious content...or 30 second promotional hits that are inventive!

I am p.o.ed at myself for not getting up to this and I have dreamed about it since 2004! ...but you know what? I am proud of Jan Moore who took advantage of Current when I told her some time back who now has her own camera and is doing what I can only dream of right now! BUT I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP YET!
:good:

TNBlue...thanks much for that article! I am still digesting the contents but what holds true is this...Even Today, RU$H Limbaugh is overwrought with joy because he JUST found out what John Coleman is doing by making a serious 'ass' out of himself trying to 'sue' Al Gore...If Coleman were alive during the times of Galileo and Capernicus...BOTH would have been 'burned' for being witches...we would STILL believe the Earth is FLAT...and that the SUN revolves around US!

Why does the world look at us so scornfully? Because we have people here like Coleman & Limbaugh that actually have the NERVE to attack a Nobel Prize Winner...respected by the WORLD COMMUNITY...who won not ONLY at Cannes, but also an OSCAR for his work!

I suggest to Limbaugh and Coleman that we should resort to 'thumbscrews'...maybe the 'rack'...or maybe we should just crack people's heads open and rub 'salt' on their brains to CURE these diseases running rampant in this NATION!

Well, we have wished to contribute to Current for awhile now!

We have a plethora of subjects in this region and I think we could be very entertaining and informative and controversial.

However, I have also been wishing for that video camera for 10 years since the grandson was born and while the video camera can be bought cheap enough, (that is IF you aren't trying to decide Gallon of Milk or loaf of bread), Prof Gore said the mistake that most make is with the audio quality. He said too many don't make it because of audio more than video.

Takes money to make money!

(But you just keep thinking Butch/Papa, cause that is what you are great at!).

I got one for Christmas, Blueraider. Haven't had time to even take it outta the box and look at it yet, but if you have a killer idea, then I'll figure it out and we can submit something. I can be in the 'Boro in 30-40 minutes zipping down 840.

Just a thought. ;)

The Paraclete - May 11, 2008 05:47 PM (GMT)
Well, YOU have the camera, and that is REALLY all you need! Putting the parts together isn't hard at all...Rule #1, the person who HAS the 'idea' for what goes on the 'media' in content is the "Producer", and is responsible for ALL content decisions along with the "Director"...the individual responsible for making sure that the content gets onto the media...(or in news on the 'live' air)...The Producer makes a 'cookbook' recipe for a show called a 'format'...The Director follows THAT format making sure that the 'lighting'...'audio' and other practical technical issues are met...The Producer takes the 'content' shot by him and the Director and does an 'edit' on these pieces putting them together to form a 'program'...THAT program can be a documentary...an entertainment show...a talk show....you should get the idea here...

THERE IS THE END OF LESSON #1 POD PRODUCTION 101!
:good:

Just a 'few' more lessons and you will have it ALL down! ;)

By the way, Butch is my brother's nickname? :?:

Also, if I don't get up money for a computer by June 15th then I will be off-line for a while again...trying to 'prevent' THAT! :o

The Paraclete - May 15, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Well, here's the latest...went to the doctor to try to get rid of these constant respiratory infections that have been going on for months...Doctor can't figure this out, but claims I am NOT the only one with this 'mystery' ailment that has been resting in my lungs for about six months...I keep trying to get over it, and it just keeps coming right back!

Doctor said let's try this...he took me off of clindamycin and put me on 875 Milligrams of Amoxcillin twice a day...he said no use trying Cipro if clindamycin isn't working well, so we will rely on 'old faithful'...Amoxicillin (artifical penicillin) in MEGA doses...Also he told me to go to the Health food store and get a whole body cleanse...(he said make sure it includes Hepatic & Blood detoxifiers or it's just a laxative)...so I got it, and this method is actually working against this 'secondary' infection...but the puzzle is WHERE has it come from? :?:

My theory is this...(without going down conspiracy trail that is)...this virual infection was brought in from outside the country...if not from illegals then either animals or changes in the climate...it THRIVES here because of the 'climate change'...(we had ONLY two snowy weeks here in January AFTER the unatural ICE STORM we had here that nearly ripped Tulsa to shreds)...a 'few' say this was deliberately brought into our country (conspiracy trail) by people out to harm us OR by our government itself as they try to 'secretly' innoculate us against biological warfare (that's the extreme speculation)...I still say it is because of the 'drastic' changes in our climate, but that is yet another story in itself...

Everybody here has had a form of this virus...One friend of mine was hospitalized with it as it turned into 'toxic shock' (and he was a male...toxic shock is actually more rare in males)...In the southeast of Oklahoma there was an outbreak of MRSA(Super-staph)...My cousin got a NASTY infection in her sinuses about 2 months ago that required a shot of high powered antibiotics...THIS has been an 'ongoing' story...but the WORST disease scenario we have had in years! :!:

And our government does absolutely NOTHING! Maybe if this were happening in Iraq then BU$H would be busting his butt to get the CDC to help them...but when it comes to us...like healthcare...the Neocon policy is "If they are going to die then do it quick and decrease the surplus population"...capsulated "social darwinism"...
:bad:

Das whadda been tellin' ya.

QUIT CUTTING FUNDING FOR PUBLIC HEALTH!!!!!!!!!!!! Bush has left us with "our pants down." Oh, except for his efforts to combat AIDS...............................in Africa.

Fewer and fewer protections for those of us here, while the war drags on.

We need more research! If you only knew how constipated the machinery is. Layers and layers of barriers in addition to poor funding. Let's just start with HIPPA. On second thought, I don't have time to go on 3 day rant about that.
