Another "stimulus"? Is McCain trying to stimulate the economy or the gas addicted public who's votes he hopes to buy for 18 cents a gallon? With so many people mistakenly believing that the high cost of gas is one of the most important issue in their lives, McCain's solution for America's addiction to oil is to increase demand for the drug by making it easier for us to get it and to continue to live in denial, as if oil is an unlimited gift from heaven. Just the mention of this gas tax summer reprieve, whether it ever happens or not, is reaping votes for him as today, once again, the price of a barrel of oil has reached another record. If we end up suffering 4 more years with another president so out of touch with reality that he thinks making this limited nonrenewable resource cheaper is in the best interest of the public, then maybe a country full of idiots who are willing to sell their votes so cheaply deserves to suffer the consequences.
