Title: OPERATION UNITY!
Description: The Answer To Operation CHAOS!

The Paraclete - April 12, 2008 04:11 AM (GMT)
It is time to talk my friends about Operation Unity...this will be a major effort among us Democrats...along with Al Gore and the Super Delegates...

Operation Unity consists of making sure that ALL Democrats will be UNIFIED come this November in order to save our nation from inevitable destruction at the hands of John McCain and the Neocons headed by Karl Rove & the Radio Mob...

It consists of making EVERY effort to quell ANY adversity between followers of Senator Barack Obama & Senator Hillary Clinton...the BEST way is as follows...IF Obama WINS the nomination he should follow 'tradition' and take the second runner up, Senator Clinton as VP...also he should retract a statement of NOT being VP if Clinton takes the 'nomination'...this could very well end up as a 'brokered' Convention this year and WE Goristas, along with the Deanies now running the DNC have an 'obligation' to make sure there are NO rifts between the Obama & Clinton Campaigns...they need to realize we are either going to HANG together or HANG separately when McCain wins by default!

We NEED to be reminding the public of McCain's 100 YEAR PLAN for IRAQ!...we NEED to be REMINDING people of McCain's remarks of BOMBING IRAN!...WE NEED TO BE REMINDING PEOPLE THAT BU$H AND THE GOP(GUARDIANS OF PETROLEUM) INCLUDING MCCAIN WALKED US INTO IRAQ...WHILE GASOLINE & DIESEL WENT ABOVE $3 DOLLARS A GALLON AS A RESULT!

VOTING MCCAIN IS GOING TO BE 4 MORE YEARS OF BU$H POLICIES!

THE DEMOCRATS ARE READY TO SUPPLY WHAT THIS NATION NEEDS!

WE NEED CHANGE! NOW! :good:

:good:

OPERATION UNITY IS IN FULL SWING! TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS! WE NEED TO BE UNIFIED TO WAGE THE PEACE!...AND TAKE AMERICA BACK TO PROSPERITY!

And as Senator Clinton said..."Be careful RU$H, you may just GET your WISH!...And WE will guarantee it...A DEMOCRATIC WIN!

Also remember that Ron Paul & Pat Buchanan are waiting in the wings to SWEEP the GOP clean! BUT WE MUST WIN FOR THEM TO GET ENOUGH LEVERAGE TO OUST ROVE & THE NEOCONS!
:!:

AS THE DEMOCRATS REGAIN 'UNITY' THE REPUBLICANS WILL BE PURGED BACK TO 'HONESTY'! THIS CHANGE MUST INCLUDE BOTH PARTIES AND ALL AMERICANS TO WORK!! :Y: :Y:

LIMBAUGH WANTS A 1968 RIOT! LET'S GIVE HIM A KUM-BAY-A UNITY LOVE FEST INSTEAD! ;)

trueconservative - April 12, 2008 06:29 AM (GMT)
yes, papa, Operation Unity is especially needed so we true conservatives and conservative libertarians can retake control of the GOP. As long as Rove and the Straussians control the GOP, all you will see is more  kowtowing to the tribe of Ibn-Saud! <_<

The stock market took yet another 'hit' today with the failings of GE along with consumer confidence sinking along with the value of the dollar. Papa is correct. If George W. Bush's TAX cuts were so beneficial to this nation then WHY has our markets FAILED to show ANY real 'growth' in the last 8 years?

Energy costs are through the roof, the markets are flagging, and the dollar is collapsing. Bernanke's interest rate cuts are failing to blow enough financial 'epinephine' into an economy that Bush and the GOP has put Trillions of Dollars into future debt!

Just think of what kind of National Health Care system we COULD have had for the US People using the over $467 Billion Plus Dollars we wasted on an 'ungrounded' War with Iraq!

But The Right Wing Conservatives on Radio fail to mention ANY of that because they are too busy making Senator Barack Obama into Osama's Twin Brother, and Senator Hillary Clinton into the Female Version of Her Hubby!

The DEMOCRATS need to get the MEDIA to FOCUS on the ISSUES!

WE NEED OPERATION UNITY NOW! ;)

As long as its Gore or Obama at the top of the ticket.

I for one will NEVER, EVER vote for any ticket Hillary or any other Clitnonite is ever on. EVER.

Unity08 sounded good to me more than a year ago(I was the one pressing for it)
Too bad it hasn't happened.
Gore/Bloomberg if Hillary steals it.

hangingchad - April 14, 2008 07:03 PM (GMT)
I'd vote Clinton/Obama. I'd of COURSE vote Gore/Obama. But Obama/Clinton? Ask me again in October. Maybe I'll be able to give you a tepid "Okay" then. Right now I'm furious with Obama over his stance on the delegates, and also I really see through him in general, which is easy, as there is NOTHING there to impede my vision going straight on through.

Will I vote for a man who doesn't want me to have a vote in the primary?

It isn't looking good. Earthmother has been working on me, though. She had to go and bring up the war. See how she is, confusing me with the facts?! So, ask me in October. For now, I will just vote "present" in this discussion.

<_<

The Paraclete - April 14, 2008 09:44 PM (GMT)
Clay, when John McCain is dropping bombs on Iran while commiting MORE troops to 'oil' wars, the Congress brings back the military draft for the pending invasion of Pakistan and our 100 YEAR prescence in BAGHDAD!...And Gasoline & Diesel hit high marks of $6 DOLLARS A GALLON PLUS...our Markets tank into 'Depression' due to high energy costs and MORE BILLIONS in WAR FUNDING to REBUILD THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF IRAN AFTER WE BLOW IT UP WITH NO HOPES OF BEING REPAID IN OIL MONEY OR ANYTHING...

I am going to remember you said that one...
;)

Why would RU$H even need an inside operative when he has you? You KNOW they are all going to 'lockstep in time' come November and vote for McCain no matter what they are saying now...

Forget about Al Gore on the Third Party Ticket because he is and always has been a Loyal Democrat...he won't rock the boat...Also with Barack Obama now 'torpedoing' himself verbally making 'bitter' gaffs at white folk may just be setting McCain up for a 'landslide' anyway...A brokered convention? Probably...I am going to follow my Leader...Al Gore...Clinton or Obama...I will follow whom he picks...but in my estimation, Barack "Hussein" Obama is getting 'race-baited' in a major way by the Neocons right now, and he hasn't even clinched the primaries...This may be up to...

AL GORE & THE SUPER DELEGATES!

The Paraclete - June 11, 2008 06:57 PM (GMT)
OPERATION UNITY OPERATIVES:

Special Operative, Senator Hillary Clinton has done her part with a rousing endorsement of Senator Barack Obama...our mission remains the same...to make sure Senator Obama realizes that having BOTH the Clintons AND the Gores on his side is generally to HIS favor!

We will PUSH for an Obama-Gore or Obama-Clinton ticket! Remember Limbaugh wants a NASTY Democratic Convention! WE WANT A LOVE FEST OF UNITY! ;)

Personally, I STILL favor a Obama-Clinton Ticket with Al Gore as Senior White House Advisor...we ALSO MUST find a powerful spot for Govenor Bill Richardson in the 'new' Administration...I am thinking Homeland Security Chief...

WHY I AM VOTING OBAMA:

Really simple folks, I am Multi-racial/multinational in origin! So IS Senator Obama! I am HALF CAUCASIAN/HALF HISPANIC...and I find Barack Obama as a Half-breed to be GOOD COMPANY! MULTIRACIALS/MULTINATIONALS UNITE! we HALF BREEDS HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER ON THIS! :good:

WHY BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA WILL BE GOOD FOR AMERICA:

Senator Obama shouldn't HIDE that middle name, because THAT middle name will allow him to NEGOTIATE with Islamic Nations in order to bring PEACE to the region (Israel & Palestine especially)...and when Barack HUSSEIN Obama asks Saudi Arabia to PRODUCE MORE OIL then he will get what he asks for because he will be looked upon as a 'brother'...(just as I also view him...we brothers stick together)...When Barack HUSSEIN Obama talks to Mahmûd Ahmadinejâd about his 'nuclear program' he will GET RESULTS because the Leader of Iran will be afraid to DIS a 'brother'... :Y:

Imagine, Hugo Chavez at the UN giving Barack Obama a BIG HUG instead of talking about how the Devil BU$H left the smell of 'brimstone'... ;)

It isn't that Oil Producing Nations CAN'T produce MORE...the fact is THEY WON'T PRODUCE MORE BECAUSE IT HURTS NEOCON WAR MONGERING AMERIKA!

The Neocons are trying to turn our candidate into Obama Hussein Bin-Laden...it is up to us to turn the tables on them...the BEST way to do that is to convince the US Public that Senator Obama...like Ronald Reagan before him...will be ABLE to get the world to do what is good for ALL of us...WITHOUT FIRING ONE SINGLE SHOT OR DROPPING AS MUCH AS ONE BOMB IN A WAR!

CLINTONS AS HUMAN SHIELDS:

Also operatives, the Neocons are STILL using the Clintons as 'Human Shields'...by THAT I mean that The NOISE Machine is STILL smearing Senator Obama, and putting the 'blame' on the Clintons...we NEED to separate Bill & Hillary from that smear campaign by reminding people that the Clintons ENDORSED Senator Obama...and that all the MUD is really coming from the Neocon Noise Machine & Echo Chamber on the Radio...

We also NEED to remind the people that RU$H Limbaugh lives in a $24 Million Dollar Mansion...that Hannity DRIVES a gas guzzling Escolade...and that Beck made MILLIONS by dissing Al Gore and most of the world!...THEY GET PAID BY OIL COMPANIES!

Finally remember the Neocons are AFRAID OF UNITY! So we MUST UNIFY that 81% of the POPULATION that claims we are going in the WRONG DIRECTION! And remind them that a VOTE for McCaine is a vote for HIGH FUEL PRICES, WAR, AND A BAD ECONOMY! We NEED to focus OUR ENERGY ON MORE TROOPS MCCAINE NOW!...Remember a VOTE for McCaine is a VOTE for BU$H TERM THREE!
:bad:

trueconservative - June 11, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
Another point to mention, papa, is this, back in 2000 Bush & Rove claimed that John McCain turned on fellow POW's while he was in the Hanoi Hilton, and implied that he WAS the Manchurian Candidate. What I want to know is if John McCaine was THAT bad back in 2000 then what has 8 years done to make him the Neocons' favorite son? :?:

The Paraclete - June 12, 2008 08:55 AM (GMT)
You are absolutely right true, read this...

From Patriot Project's The Swiftboaters Are Back in the Water,

... Bush surrogates (several later involved in the Kerry swiftboating effort) skillfully turned McCain's service record against him (thereby deflecting questions about Bush's own service record.) They planted stories that the torture McCain suffered as a POW had brought about mental instability, including rumors that he had been programmed as a "Manchurian candidate" who "collaborated with the enemy." No longer could McCain use the fact that he had endured torture as evidence of dedication to serving his country.

The Patriot Project is now defunct, but THEY cannot hide these accusations...Hey Karl Baby! What makes McCain any less mentally dysfunctional since 2000? What happened? Did he get 'hannitized'? You know...counteract the brainwashing with MORE brainwashing?
:?:

The Paraclete - July 10, 2008 06:46 PM (GMT)
Operation Unity Operatives:

We are doing an excellent job, but we are having problems with organization.

Both Wesley Clark AND Senator Kerry went after McCain's service record and The Conservative Noise Machine immediately went up with the counter-offensive. The major problem is timing. Both General Clark AND Senator Kerry should have launched at the SAME time! Part of what we SHOULD be doing is 'simultaneous' events...what I MEAN is having Senator Kerry, General Clark, Senator Clinton, and the LPOTUS ALL hitting McCain at the SAME time! We have to OVERLOAD the MSM system and give the neocon NOISE MAKERS an OVERLOAD of materials to handle!

I will finish with this...it is a VERY GOOD job we are doing at jamming their phone lines with OUR calls, but we NEED to BOMBARD them as MUCH as possible! They will USE their 'plants' pretending to be Liberals so take NOTE of it!

REMEMBER TO WORK TOGETHER! AND BLOGS SHOULD BE OFFERING COUNTER ATTACKS DAILY! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT JOB!

Brother Barack & Sister Hillary are COUNTING ON US! ;)

UNITY, N.H. — Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton set off on their maiden political voyage on Friday, trading their rivalry from the presidential primary battle for a newfound display of harmony intended to set a fresh tone for any Democrats still harboring bitterness from their grueling duel.

It was a day of choreographed unity — their destination was a rally here in this small western New Hampshire town — with the two senators appearing together before the cameras for the first time. Three weeks after suspending her campaign, Mrs. Clinton renewed her endorsement and pledged to do all she could to help Democrats win the White House in the fall.

“Unity is not only a beautiful place, it’s a wonderful feeling, isn’t it?” Mrs. Clinton said. “I know what we start here in this field of unity will end on the steps of the Capitol when Barack Obama takes the oath of office.”

Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton strode onto an outdoor stage here, arm-in-arm, waving to a friendly crowd. Their messages complemented one another, as did his blue tie and her blue pantsuit.

“For sixteen months, Senator Clinton and I have shared the stage as rivals,” Mr. Obama said. “But today, I couldn’t be happier and more honored that we’re sharing it as allies in the effort to bring this country a new and better day.”

Here in Unity, the merging of the crowds did not go without a few momentary flaws. When the music was cued and the senators were introduced, they did not appear on stage. For several minutes, the crowd waited, their cheers gradually diminishing to an awkward silence. The enthusiasm sparked anew when they finally arrived and walked past large letters that spelled U-N-I-T-Y.

Mrs. Clinton spoke first, with Mr. Obama sitting on a stool. His shirtsleeves rolled up, he listened intently and often led the applause at her remarks. The crowd, a mix of loyal supporters of Mr. Obama and die-hard admirers of Mrs. Clinton, broke into a chant of “Obama, Obama, Obama.” A few moments later, several women in the crowd led a chant of “Hillary, Hillary, Hillary.”

“If you like the direction the country is going, then vote for Senator McCain, but if you think we need a new course, a new agenda, vote for Barack Obama,” Mrs. Clinton told the crowd. “To anyone who voted for me and is now considering not voting or voting for Senator McCain, I strongly urge you to reconsider.”

Mr. Obama implored Mrs. Clinton’s supporters to join the Democratic campaign. He praised the Clintons, saying: “I know how much we need both Bill and Hillary Clinton as a party and a country.” Echoing a line he heard from the crowd, he added, “She rocks. She rocks.”

The arrival of Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton stirred something of a spectacle here, with hundreds of people turning out on the grounds of an old elementary school. The site was selected for the community’s symbolic name and the fact that both candidates received 107 votes in the town during the state’s primary in January.

If the purpose of the day was to telegraph a unified Democratic Party, images of that message were plentiful.

Their motorcades arrived simultaneously at an airport in Washington, where they exchanged a kiss and smiled as they stepped onto the same chartered plane. They sat in adjoining seats, chatting the whole flight to New Hampshire. Then, for more than an hour, they rode on the same bus to Unity.

On a sultry summer day, with the aroma of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs in the air, the rally took on the trappings of a political festival. A giant blue banner, “Unite for Change” provided a backdrop against a meadow of trees. Many of those in the crowd, who came from New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and beyond, wore faded stickers of their favorite candidate.

The pleasantries, though, belied a litany of extenuating issues between the two former rivals. Mrs. Clinton asked a Washington powerbroker lawyer, Robert Barnett, to help negotiate the talks, which include helping repay her campaign debt and securing a prominent spot at the party’s summer convention.

None of those details were discussed, at least in public, on Friday.

“Are you ready for change in Washington?” New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch asked the crowd, which answered with resounding approval.

The rally came one day after the two senators met at an invitation-only gathering Thursday evening in Washington. Mrs. Clinton invited Mr. Obama to meet her leading contributors (He brought a personal check of $2,300 as a goodwill gesture to help wipe away more than $12 million in debt for her campaign expenses.) and asked them to help Mr. Obama defeat Senator John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee.

“We have to make it a priority in our lives to elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States,” Mrs. Clinton told her supporters, including many who came with their own checks for Mr. Obama’s campaign. “his was a hard-fought campaign. That’s what made it so exciting and intense and why people’s passions ran so high on both sides. I know my supporters have extremely strong feelings, and I know Barack’s do as well.

She added, “But we are a family, and we have an opportunity now to really demonstrate clearly we do know what’s at stake, and we will do whatever it takes to win back this White House.”

For his part, Mr. Obama urged his supporters to help ease Mrs. Clinton’s debt and pave the way for her to become a leading surrogate for his campaign. There was no mention of whether she will be considered as a prospective running mate.

Terry McAuliffe, the campaign chairman for Mrs. Clinton, said it was time to get her contributors “fired up for the general election.” There was no time, he said, to look back.

“It was a great race. She got 18 million votes and she realizes what was accomplished,” Mr. McAuliffe said in an interview. “No one likes to lose, but you know what? She’s moved on.”

Therre is no unity here in Tennessee.  I can't believe that yellow-dog democrats will not vote for Obama.

There is no unity here in FL, either.

edited to add: I think I'm a "yellow dog Democrat", although I'm from the northeast (mid-Atlantic region, actually...but northeast works, too) and the term originally referred to southern Democrats. But the term has come to mean extremely loyal Dems who would vote for a yellow dog if s/he were the Dem nominee rather than vote for the repug. I would vote for a yellow dog. Obama I'm not sure I can vote for, but a yellow dog? Color me THERE, guys! That said, this yellow dog Dem is not aboard the Unity Train yet for this election cycle. Usually I'm already aboard and ensconced in my seat, with all my luggage tucked neatly away overhead, and very psyched about the journey ahead. This time? I'm not even at the station yet.

Let's do this thing. :Y:
