Al Gore to Deliver Keynote Address at RSA® Conference 2008Monday March 24, 8:01 am ET
Nobel Laureate and Former U.S. Vice President's Keynote Session as Closing Event at World's Leading Information Security Conference and Exposition
SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RSA® Conference today announced that Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore will be the closing keynote speaker at RSA Conference 2008 – taking place April 7-11, 2008, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Gore’s keynote speech will be held on Friday, April 11, at 2:15 P.M.

After serving as the 45th Vice President of the United States, Al Gore became a prominent environmental activist. He is the author of An Inconvenient Truth, a best-selling book on the threat of and solutions to global warming, and the subject of the movie of the same title, which received Academy Awards and has become one of the top documentary films in history. Gore was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for efforts to build and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and for laying a foundation of recommendations that are needed to counteract such change.
