It's your call, Hillary
It's 3 a.m., the phone is ringing and the crisis is you. So what's your answer?

OPINION piece from the LA Times

.....

"Hillary, listen: This country could be in serious danger if McCain becomes president. His national security policies are a recipe for endless conflagration, especially in the Middle East. Saying McCain's a "hawk" is an understatement. McCain makes Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld look like cute little parakeets. No kidding. Remember "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran?" Ha ha."

....

"And as you chase after near-impossibilities, you'll be running a campaign aimed at systematically destroying the reputation of your party's front-runner -- the candidate who leads in the overall popular vote as well as the delegate count, the candidate who has shown an impressive ability to win the hearts of independents and even Republicans, the candidate who is attracting new voters in droves, the candidate who voters think stands the best chance of preventing Mr. "Bomb Bomb Iran" from becoming our next president and leading us into a future of endless war.

This week, right-wing radio host Rush Limbaugh urged Republicans to vote for you instead of McCain in Texas and Ohio -- because "Obama needs to be bloodied up. Look, half the country already hates Hillary. But nobody hates Obama yet. Hillary is going to be the one to have to bloody him up politically."

You were right all along, Hillary: There is a vast right-wing conspiracy. The thing is, you've just become their not-so-secret weapon."

Not a fan of this ad personally - if I hadn't known it was a Hillary ad when I started watching it, I would have thought it was a fear-mongering McCain ad!!! :!:

Someone who has given up on Hillary. I wonder just how far she can push it before the average Joe does the same?

"The Monster: A Loyal Clinton Soldier Turns in His Badge:"

"Are the conservatives right about the Clintons? Will they do and say anything to get elected?

I don't know.

All I know is...I'm through apologizing. "

If you google the author of that article, Seth Grahame-Smith, there is not one link to a column or blog where he supports or defends the Clintons. So how can he credibly call himself a loyal Clinton supporter? Like I said before just because something is posted on the internet it doesn't mean it is true.

james- stop defending Hillary

She is ruining the party for her and her husbands ego

And Rendell's statements yesterday on her behalf were quite honestly, unAmerican

I'll defend who I like and not be silenced. The people that are ruining the party are not the candidates but supporters on both sides who can't see past their own bias and vitriol.

As Bill Maher wisely said:

QUOTE
I mean, you may not want Hillary Clinton for president, but there is absolutely no reason anyone has a – would ever have to hate this person. You may not say she inspires you, but there is nothing hate-able about Hillary Clinton. If you hate Hillary Clinton, it is so about you.

It's about the haters, not about the Clintons.

I do not like Bill Maher

I didn't like him on ABC's young comedians

I find him a hypocrite

He is also not a democrat

and he is nuts in his anti-truth statements about 9-11

You know, the guy is a writer on a blog expressing his frustration with Clinton.

I'm guessing he's just like a lot of other people out there who supported a candidate but does not have a record of working on the campaign or writing other political pieces, that we are aware of. Just someone who had planned to vote for her.

People do submit articles and sometimes those articles are used. It is called a blog. Blogs could be news people with creds to ordinary citizens. Blogs like this can offer evidence- I don't think he's out of line on his- with an opinion, or just be an opinion.

The guy could just as well have been a McCain supporter who lamented and decided not to support him.

The Huffington Post opted to publish his piece.

But he is claiming to be former Clinton supporter & defender. That is the whole central theme of his article and the basis for his criticism. Yet there is no evidence that he has ever written one word in support or defense of the Clinton's. It is a matter of credibility. And he could of just as easily claimed he was a McCain supporter, there is just as much evidence to support that claim. It is a matter of credibility and he has no credibility in claiming to be former Clinton supporter.
