Title: Gore OK with McCain?
Description: Al "MUST" run for pres... but now?

man who cares - February 27, 2008 06:56 AM (GMT)
Is there a reason why MR. Gore has been so quiet during this election? Is there actually a republican who cares for ALL of us? Maybe! MR. Gore walked away like a man with respect when he "lost" to JEB and the supreme court...Hanging CHAD my ASS! And, he didn't BUCK the system of DEMOCRACY in front of the world. Thank you. Does he trust Mr. McCain to run the show until it's his turn? Hopefully. 8 years as president could happen when MR. Gore is 90, and I would vote for him... both times! I have never felt safer behind a leader. Proud to have MR Gore as a spokesman for "US"... against Putin, Korea, Iran or whomever. We all saw the debates between MR. Gore and Bush JR., so we must understand the power of a vote beyond logic. Republicans saw Bush Jr. say "He can't ask me that!" and still voted for him! I'm disgusted as an American that our "leader" can't read a prepared speech even though he has been next of kin for years. You with me? Two things...Is John McCain well rounded enough to please Democrats? And is Hillary a good enough vice pres. to run with Al Gore in 4 or 8 years?

Al Gore is staying quiet right now because this is the primary stage. On the democratic side, there's a very real possibility that there coud be a deadlocked convention and there's been talk tha if that happens, Al Gore would be the compromise candidate that could unite the democratic party. In addition, having spent 15 years volunteering on election campaigns when I lived in Florida, I know that Al Gore did all he could short of starting a civil war to save democracy in America in 2000. Where were you during the 36 days he spent fighting to have the uncounted votes counted as Florida law clearly required? Your blaming of Al Gore for Bush's theft of the 2000 election is a right wing smear and is contrary to the actual facts of what really happened.

:bad: Enough, justice. Never did man who cares blame Gore. Don't start that garbage with a newbie, who, unlike some, actually support Gore.

This response shows how twisted this forum is. The ugly truth is now crap while lies are the truth. How "1984" of you. It's now a crime to defend Al Gore from the right wing smear that Al Gore didn't fight to save democracy in Florida in 2000. That right wing claim couldn't be further from the truth. I actually used to know a number of the people who worked on the Florida Gore 2000 campaign so I know exactly what happened there. I have every right to object to such a false right wing smear of Al Gore. The actual facts prove that Al Gore did all he could. Should he have started a civil war? You need to face the uglytruth instead of attacking me for telling the ugly truth.

Did you bother to really read his post? Uhhh, no.

As James likes to say, "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!"

I'm a bit confused by this whole thread. Seems like a bit too much arguing. :bad:

One can't help wondering, then, why you insist on posting here, despite having been banned more times than I care to count.

I thought I had guest posting turned off, but I guess not, since you're still posting. I'll have to take care of that pronto. It's impossible for you to post anything that doesn't start an argument.

:( Sorry about pouring gas on that fire - there weren't many of us here at the time and I was trying to be short and to the point with the JusticeForAl poser. It was an attempt to simply dismiss her comments, so she'd know it wouldn't be tolerated. Good intentions...

man who cares was a little confusing - I think he was going for rhetorical :?:

Yeah, I found the opening post a bit confusing, too, but I believe he's a supporter, and no way should he be bashed by anyone here, least of all JFA, who has been banned and is not welcomed here.

And btw, tkdveg . . . no need for apologies. You didn't do anything wrong!

And also JFA...please stop trying to make us out as 'handwringing' crybabies spoiling over our 'oats'...while your at it tell the Beck Supporters and Sun Worshippers who come here to cut down 'global warming' that THEY are also wasting their time as well! <_<

My sentiments exactly, EM...what are you a "glutton for punishment"...addicted to 'self-flagellation'? My God! Al Gore if anybody has the MOST right to complain about this and NEVER has! :!:

JFA if you want to 'hang on a cross' for Al Gore then go right ahead, but you KNOW he doesn't WANT you to! Nobody is that conceited (except for maybe Limburger or Rove)...We heard about the whole story from 2000 and onward...but we choose NOT to lay in a ditch with it...Looking toward the future is what is IMPORTANT! :good:

The original 'question' was about McCain anyway...allow me to get back on subject...NO MATTER HOW LIBERAL THEY CLAIM MCCAIN IS, HE IS A THREAT BECAUSE....so far he claimed he could keep an American prescence in Iraq for 100 YEARS!...and make NO MISTAKE he means MILITARY...why do I say this? Because right AFTER that famous McCain QUOTE...he used KOREA as an example!...You know...the 60 PLUS YEAR EYESORE that we station THOUSANDS of TROOPS ON? The KOREAN PENINSULA? Does ANYONE know how much MONEY we have spent over the LAST 60 YEARS on keeping NORTH and SOUTH KOREA separated? And McCain wants the SAME THING IN IRAQ? :?:

The other thing about McCain that gives him away is the BOMB,BOMB,BOMB...BOMB, BOMB...IRAN quote to be sung to a Beach Boys song! Is THIS the man we want in the WHITE HOUSE? Think about it!...BU$H'S actions and the $467 BILLION DOLLAR WAR IN IRAQ PUSHED GASOLINE UP TO $3 DOLLARS PLUS A GALLON! OIL ABOVE $100 A BARREL!....WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN WHEN MCCAIN BOMBS & INVADES IRAN?...GAS AT $6 A GALLON PLUS!

THINK ABOUT IT!

trueconservative - February 28, 2008 08:28 PM (GMT)
you are exactly correct papa, as I demonstrated in another thread. John McCain using WAR as a 'tool' will cripple this nation so BADLY that we will WISH Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton WERE President!

If McCain steals this then the Democrats need to bring back the military DRAFT, because after McCain BOMBS Iran...we are going to NEED IT!
