As a conservative I say this budget, the BIGGEST in US History is the most extravagant waste of MONEY that anyone has EVER seen!

Congress should bounce it right out of the door! If Democrats want a Democratic President in 2008 they MUST derail this handout to Sperry-Rand, Northrop-Grumman, and Boeing before it destroys us totally! This is nothing but a MILTITARY PORK BARREL GIVE A WAY!

This is one of the parts I have trouble with. The money will be borrowed from China. Many of the American citizens, emphisis on elderly and below poverty poor, are not even eligible for the refund and now it looks as if the illegals will get it.

SO... what do we have.
1. More debt to China.
2. Many of those truly in need may not and probably won't get the rebate.
3. The lower class's who can't hide the money offshore will indeed spent in the local economy...but they will be buying Chinese products.
4. The illegals will send most of their money home so this can offer no stimulus in this country.
5. So honestly, think hard. Just who's economy will this help. It doesn't look like ours.
6. I just can't help but wonder just how much this increases the coffers of the Bush family and friends.

Al001, that is exactly what Mike Huckabee said in the GOP debate last night! Some of us watched the debates instead of the Super Bowl!

Many attack FDR for his projects in the 30's, both THOSE projects actually DID re-invigorate this nation!

Eisenhower did the same in the 50's building the Interstate Highway System to offset the costs of the Korean & Cold Wars, and he BOOMED the economy as well!

I guess we all might as well move to Mexico! They will be getting the lion's share of this stimulus package!

Funny how Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, and Savage conveniently look in the other direction while their Plutocrat Leader and his Mad Monk in San Antonio rob the US People of MORE money!
