Title: Ecology v. Economy
Description: More Money or More Water

I do not profess a strong familiarity with the platforms or progress of Mr. Gore's plans, but I have a question of a particular interest to pose to him and the rest of us:

What about water? Everything about the pollution of the atmosphere is right, I believe, but people are so unwilling to see what they think they cannot see (or breathe, for that matter) that many are simply refusing to accept the science of the problem: that we are slowly warming the globe.

I propose that we direct their probably misinformed, possibly chosenly ignorant views to the seas. Water is THE life-giving fundamental of our existences. Water is consumed in bottled millions by the day. Water is necessary for most of the basic functions of our daily lives, such as cooking and hygiene.

We are poisoning ourselves with our own waste. One day, the purification of water will be an essential industry to the economy of the time and we will watch in horror and reminiscence as those prices rise like gasoline and oil.

If you want to realize an issue on a grand scale, you must convince the public of your cause; popularize by targeting consumerism and using it as the medium by which you convey a humanitarian message.

This is the information age, so why isn't ALL information being flashed at us from every corner of the vision-field? More facts, I say, in every space that isn't occupied by commercial advertisement.

More informative images. An epitaph for the day, I'd say.
