Below is an e-mail one of our MA people sent around:
In case you haven't heard it yet, Al is coming out with a sequel to his best selling book, An Inconvenient Truth, entitled: "The Path to Survival," which will be released as a paperback on Earth Day, April 22nd.
According to a statement issued by the publisher, Rodale Press:
"He (Gore) explains how making bold choices now to protect our environment will also create new jobs, propel sustainable economic improvements, and inspire a new generation to tackle our most challenging issues with moral leadership,"
"Part scientific manual, part expose, part visionary call for a new planet-wide political movement, the book will appeal to those who were motivated by the call to action of `An Inconvenient Truth' and who are now ready to fight for the solutions that were considered politically impossible only a short time ago."
If he chooses to do a nation-wide book tour that could last -- oh maybe clear to the democratic convention, he will once again be prominently in the public eye and this will
remind the mainstream that our crusader for the planet and noble laureate would make a great presidential candidate to draft to unite the party! Let's spread the word.

Just passing the info along. No comment, not at the moment, anyway.
And if Clinton and Obama are split roughly 50-50 at that point, well, who knows...
Will a 50/50 split be enough to keep either one from getting the nomination, or will it take a third person siphoning off delegates to keep them from succeeding on the first ballot?
Edwards will need to continue winning at least 10-15% of the vote to have a shot at a brokered convention. Candidate delegates are fierce loyalists and I'd imagine if Hillary or Obama have the bare minimum required to win going in, it's safe to say they'll all stick with their guy and he/she will indeed grab the nomination.
Could be Obama-Edwards, if the rest of the states vote like the first four. That would be fine with me, as long as Gore is UN-Secretary General.
