The beginning of Beck's show today was priceless...after over 10 minutes of tribute to Martin Luther King on comes Glenn wrapping himself in "The Declaration Of Independence" while paying lipservice to the fact TODAY we could have an African-American or woman as president! :dripple:
Then right after that comes the 'duplicity'...in the very NEXT breathe he CUTS DOWN the campaigns of both the AFRICAN-AMERICAN & THE WOMAN running for President because he doesn't like 'change'...There's a two-faced Janus for you! IT IS CLASSIC! :!:
That is about as HYPOCRITICAL you can possibly be without your head spinning around like Linda Blair's did in THE EXORCIST! It's a wonder Glenn's head didn't just FLY OFF...God only knows he's on enough 'drugs' right now! WOOO HOOO! HOG WILD! :blink:
The Stock Market is plummeting even after a major interest rate cut by the Fed, but this time Bernanke is going to find out that devaluating the dollar once more is just sinking the markets even more.
Glenn Beck wants you to believe that it's your fault for buying that house during the 90's boom while he invokes God this time and wraps himself in religion as US markets plummet back down to 10,000 points from 14,000 on the DJIA. What papa said was right, it has been 'bad' policies from the GOP and the Neoconservatives ruling my party. They want to blame the Democrats once again, but it just isn't going to fly this time.
Maybe Dubya should have given Saudi Arabia billions of US dollars as a gift while he was over there waving a scimitar that they don't have to pay back like he did in Iraq. It was these massive billion dollar gifts and no-bid contracts to Halliburton and Bechtel that caused the problems.
Then of course there are the oil companies like Exxon-Mobil who are taking every extra dollar that gets thrown into the Market by the Fed and lining their wallets with it. Jim Chanos, T Boone Pickens, and the other short sellers on this failing market are having a field day while people are getting 'pink slips'. It's the same as Bush & Cheney have been doing all along starting with Enron.
Now the "Stay The Course" wage a BILLION dollar war is coming back to bite them all on the butt, and yet once again they are wrapping themselves in the flag, praising God, and playing the 'blame game'.
All I can say to Glenn Beck & his ilk is this. If you want to see WHO caused all this calamity then just go look in a mirror, if you can see your reflection that is!
