John McCaine talks of our 60 occupation in Korea as if it was a 'good' thing, and he wants to perpetuate it in Iraq as well. He is just showing the Republicans true intent when it comes to Iraq, that they never had any intentions to have US troops leave the nation.
Every one of our occupations costs us money. Every year we pour more money down the drain to keep occupying sore spots, some we have done for decades. But the point is this in Europe and even in Kuwait, we didn't have more and more of our troops killed every day by IED's and other devices.
