I guess you've heard by now that Bush's granddad, Prescott, was accused by Maj-General Smedley Butler in the congressional record of plotting with Nazi's to overthrow Roosevelt in the 1930's. You may not have heard of the 10 steps to destroy democracy, which are already in motion here. Naomi Wolf has them in a book The End of America. I know it sounds like conspiracy theory at first.

I'd been reading about these changes, like animal rights activists who committed vandalism before 9-11 being convicted under the Patriot Act as terrorists. I knew about a lot of new presidential powers, and Bush's defiance of congressional subpoenas. When I read her book, all of the pieces clicked into place. It explained everything that had been so disturbing about the government changes. Consilience it's called in science, when the pieces snap together like a jigsaw puzzle and you get an "ah-hah!"
