Title: Why don't people take the effects of TV seriously?
Description: TV effects on our minds, why ignored?

When I read Al Gore's description of how TV changes the way we think and make choices, I thought, "At last! Now people will take it seriously." After all, our capacity for reason is so much more fundamental than who wins the next election. Surely the public wants to take back control of their minds and government. But very few seem to have heard Gore. Even here, where Gore supporters abound, there's nary a whisper about it.

The only public forum I've found to date to take this seriously is a new group dedicated to it

I made a post here, and got no replies. Could the entire country be in denial, excepting Al gore and a handful of people in one small MySpace group?
