A Clinton and a Gore in an Obama Administration?

Barack Obama is on the cover of the new TIME Magazine and tells the magazine that, if elected, he would offer Bill Clnton a place in his Administration "in a second. There are few more talented people."

Al Gore would be offered a position “in a minute,” Obama said in an interview, adding the “country and world caught up to [Gore]” on the climate change issue.

The magazine cover asks "Barack Obama Has Promised to Change Politics. Has Politics Changed Him?"

“The truth is, for all his talk about inventing a new kind of politics, Obama has always understood that the old rulebook cannot be completely thrown out in a nomination fight—not if you want to win," TIME writes in the cover story.

Would you say Al Gore is really the catalyst for concern about climate change?
He has been working on this for decades. The country and the world caught up to him.

Would you offer him a job in an Obama Administration?
In a minute.

Merged the topics, since they were posted almost at the same time. :)

OK I saw the blurb that Obama had raised more money than anyone on either side except H-rod to run so far?

Does anyone know how he compares to the money Gore raised in 2000?

Not a fair comparison, but I would be interested?

I suppose it has to be far more to run second to H-rod now???

I see a Clinton-Obama Presidency with Al Gore as Senior White House Advisor...(you know, Karl Rove's 'old job?)...but that's just silly old me...

If Al isn't on the THRONE...then I WANT him as the POWER behind it! ;)

And Mr. Gore already HAS the network...the people...AND the resources to do an even BETTER job than the 'doughboy' ever could do...plus the WORLD looooves AL GORE!...He would be a 'diplomatic' godsend...

And of course I am EXPECTING the Democrats to run on the PEACE & PROSPERITY TICKET in 2008!...THAT means ENDING the WAR in IRAQ...and putting this nation back into the BOOM we had under Clinton in the 90's! :good:
