We have been worrying too much on everyone else not ourselves. Granted, there is nothing wrong with helping people out, but we are trying to be the policing country of the world. Ever since after World War II we have been putting our noses in other countries problems, even causing a two unnecessary "conflicts", Vietnam and Iraq. We spend billions of dollars on the war and we have higher gas prices, higher cost for everything (ex. food), we have more and more homeless, and even buying a house is becoming an increasingly big problem. We need to go back into a sord of isolation, like back before we joined in on World War II, which was necessary. We need to pull out of other countries we do not belong in and worry bout ourselves. We stuck our nose in other people's business and it had a dire consequence as in the form of 9/11. We gave Bin Laden the resources to fight the Russians and look what happened, it came back to bite us. Saddam was never a threat, being more so of a fact with the showing of NO weapons of mass destruction. Heck, our own government put him there. He was a pawn and was never a threat. He killed his people, so do who knows how many other people. Again, we have more shootings and people killing each other and yet we focus on useless agendas. We need to pull out, regroup, and fix our country before thinking we need to fix others. I love this country with all my heart, but it's going down the wrong path. We must fix it now before it is too late.

I totally agree that we need to refocus our attention! We need to quit looking at other countries with an eye for their natural resources or how they can help us financially and/or politically! We do need to bring our attention home, but we also need to change our focus globally. Having a presence in other countries in order to provide assistance benefits the world, but having a presence in order to control and steer for political/financial purposes is unethical and harmful. We can do no good until we change our approach and stop being so greedy and imperialistic.
