Just now on CNN's Situation Room:
Gore joins prestigous Silicon Valley venture capital firm to help to invest in technologies to combat global warming, giving 100% of his salary to environmental advocacy groups.
Okay, glass-half-full people, how is he going to be able to do this and run for prez? Is this the last nail in the coffin of our hopes?!

So far, everything Gore is doing right now is tied to the global warming campaign. So there's no change to his political status since the VC firm he joined invests in environmentally sound companies.

This doesn't worry me. This is what he does.
