Title: AL GORE - TIME MAGAZINE MAN OF THE YEAR

aussies4gore - November 10, 2007 07:15 AM (GMT)
Hello guys,

I have it on very, very good authority (from one of the nine person committee who decides this) that Al Gore is definatley going to win Time Magazine Man of the Year for 2007.

What needs to be considerd now is the relationship between when this is going to be announced, Gore actually receiving the Nobel, his visit to Bali in December, and the deadlines for Super-duper tuesday.

I really would expect that if he is going to run, he needs to be on the major states primaries, notably California and New York himself. This is (correct me if I am wrong - around December 5). The smaller states he can run with Obama having nominated if it is to be a Gore-Obama ticket.

This means that the diary for December would be in the following order

Super-duper close
Nobel
Bali
Time Magazine announcment

So it is REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT that you guys succeed in California and New York.

Cheers

Joe

I agree about California and New York: December 3rd and 4th. I think Gore must then decide to run, cut a deal with Obama (assuming Obama is still 20-30 percentage points behind Hillbillary) and file for the rest of the remaining states himself. Gore and Obama should run together simply because Bill and Hillary are. Then we can decide which power couple we want in the White House.
