As of today, national polls continue to give Hillary Clinton a sizeable lead over the other Democratic candidates (although that lead has shrunk in New Hampshire and is very close in Iowa). She gets about 45 percent of the vote, although that means 55 percent of voters would choose someone else.
I have noticed that the pollsters sometimes ask voters who would they choose if the nomination came down to Clinton or Obama. She wins, in that case, by about 30 percent of the vote. But what if the choice came down to Clinton or Gore? If Edwards, Obama, Richardson and Biden concede sometime in January, Gore could challenge Clinton on Super Tuesday. Who would voters support? It's hard for me to believe most would suppote Clinton over Gore. And I think a number of the other candidates would endorse Gore. But it is interesting that this question has not been asked by pollsters.
By Super Tuesday... excellent. That's when I vote. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the polls, especially national polls. I'm willing to bet that her numbers will go down further, as the race heats up (And, i've said this for months and months). So far, Hillary has been relatively untouched. But, we're starting to see the race morph, where Hillary isn't getting treated like the Queen anymore, and the poll numbers are already starting to reflect it. Since the last debate, her numbers have dropped 6 percentage points. And, it's only going to get worse. The point of saying all this is that, yes, it's possible for Gore to enter during Super Tuesday and win. The more the other Democrats grow balls and point out what needs to be pointed out, the better Gore's chances are of winning in a Gore-Clinton race. As of right now, my vote's for Richardson. If Gore enters, i'll most likely vote for him because, at a bare minimum, our country MUST right the wrong that happened in 2000.

Like I said, as of right now i'll be voting for Richardson on 2/5/08. I'm quite interested in his candidacy, both because of his long resume (One that the GOP can't touch) and because of his stance on the issues. Him and I pretty much in agreement on all of the issues. Just like Richardson, I agree with just about everything Gore believes in, with the only disagreement being on gun rights (Richardson is pro-gun rights, which gets a thumbs up from me). With this said, I don't see a lot of scenarios where i'd vote for someone over Gore. The only one I can think of is if he ran an extremely Liberal campaign, which I don't see happening.
When I said, "at a bare minimum," I was referring to the fact that there's so many other reasons why America should vote for Gore, and even if there weren't others, America should still do so because "America must right the wrong."
