I tried to call John Conyers' office yesterday to comment (read: demand impeachment) but got no answer at all, not even a recorded message.
I'll be trying again today. :spikey:
FYI: His number is (202) 255-5126.
My Rep happens to also be on the Judicial Committee - He's heard from me several times on this already.
I encourage everyone who supports impeachment to contact Conyers, as well as other Committee members and their Reps too. The switchboards in DC have been clogged with calls in support.
Let's keep the heat up high, and take back our country!

I got this from a local activist whose listserv I am on. While I don't know the source who reported it, I don't think it would hurt to respond as if ...
"Nancy Pelosi is reported to have replied to the question of impeachment that if she received 10,000 hand written letters she would proceed with it. What are we waiting for? Letters should go to her SF office.
Nancy Pelosi
450 Golden Gate Avenue , 14th Floor
San Francisco , CA 94102
Phone: (415) 556-4862"
I've emailed back to ask here if she could report the source that reported this "if'/then" scenario (is it specifically handwritten letters that she wants, as opposed to emails, or calls, or typed letters?), and are they credible?
Couldn't hurt, could it?
Does anyone have any feedback on what would be the most effective way to communicate with John Conyers?
Thanks,
Dinah

1. Both Bush and Cheney need to be impeached in order to protect and defend the constitution, as both have defiled it. It is therefore our DUTY to impeach. It is the only patriotic thing to do.
2. It is not going to happen. There is no political will in Washington to impeach either one of the scumbags. But...
3. By all means, send letters. It is our duty to at least TRY.
4. You have to love Kucinich sometimes. He is not afraid to put himself WAY out there.
