http://dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/10/29/211640/09What about the other states that vote in March for the primaries? I'm in Ohio and would love to take part in a Draft Gore campaign.
Hey, Mike--We haven't identified Ohio as one of the 28 states where it's possible to get Gore on the ballot without him signing an affidavit. The states that are currently working to get him on the ballot need to collect a certain number of signatures (along with other requirements such as a percentage of signatures from each district, etc., depending on the state), and if they succeed, Gore's name is placed on the ballot. Unfortunately, he has the right to remove it, but we hope he won't.
Could those other states write in Gore's name during the primary?
