Here's a series of Step It Up Climate Rally events happening this coming Saturday, all over the country. This will be a very good venue for signature gathering, for whatever states are doing that. We're doing it in MA, and I'm gonna try to get more signatures for our state's ballot drive. California's gathering signatures: any Draft Gore Californians will be able to get a lot of signatures for their drive as well. Folks should look at where else it's happening, around the country for any other Draft Gore ballot drive efforts:

Seriously, folks, this nationwide Step It Up! series of events Saturday is a great opportunity to get the word out about Draft Gore efforts in each state. There are 400-500 events nationwide!

At last count, NY has 46 events scheduled, and MA and CA have 40 each, and counting. Some of us in Mass4Gore are planning to fan out to various venues with our own signature drive (to get him on the ballot here), and I know it's a great opportunity to do the same in CA's ballot petition drive.

I'm posting again because I don't want to see this opportunity go off the front burner. For those states which don't have a current ballot or write-in initiative, it could still be a day of recruitment - for letter-writing to the Big Guy himself, or to media outlets. After all, this is a new version of Earth Day; and as we all know, Al Gore can have the most influence in the world to save the earth - as President. So please, talk it up with your own state and local homies, and make Step It Up! November 3, 2007 Al Gore Day.
