Title: DraftGore and Filing Deadlines
Description: Information On Television Ad?

IanOC - October 22, 2007 02:40 PM (GMT)
I am trying to decide if I should send money in to DraftGore to help with a television ad. It will help me to decide whether to contribute, and how much to contribute, if someone involved with DraftGore could tell me:

(1) When are the filing deadlines in Iowa and Nevada?
(2) Are there efforts to get Gore on the ballot in Iowa and Nevada, and how successful have they been?
(3) What states can Gore appear on the ballot without his signature? Florida, California, Iowa, New Hampshire?
(4) What is the nature of the ad? When and where will it run? How much does it cost to run it?

Good questions, IanOC. I just sent a check about a week ago and am hoping for the best. I've also sent $$ to CA, IA, for the NY Times ad, and a few others lately. I plan to keep supporting the supporters as much as possible until we know something for sure one way or the other, but if things drag out too much longer I'm going to have to cut back on the donations.

Dailykos has a diary with info on the ad today, check it out. I am thinking about how much I can donate too.

The post at Daily Kos was helpful. It sounds like this will be the last great push to get Gore in the race. I will make my contribution.
