Dear Ralph,

I am deeply honored to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. This award is even more meaningful because I have the honor of sharing it with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change--the world's pre-eminent scientific body devoted to improving our understanding of the climate crisis--a group whose members have worked tirelessly and selflessly for many years. We face a true planetary emergency. The climate crisis is not a political issue, it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity. It is also our greatest opportunity to lift global consciousness to a higher level.

My wife, Tipper, and I will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of the award to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a bipartisan non-profit organization that is devoted to changing public opinion in the U.S. and around the world about the urgency of solving the climate crisis.

I got one too. I usually reply to his emails with pleas for him to run. I am composing my reply now.

Please tell him when you write that there are many others that also agree with you, and that when I heard the good news it was/is the high point of my month which includes my birthday! I truly believe that this was a wonderful choice, and that he is a very wonderful man! I would vote for him in a heartbeat, we desperately need honesty to change our recent past.

:good: I just saw VP AL Gore on CNN speaking about how Global Warming is going to take real leadership for all Nations to take part. The finest and I would say the only leader on this fine planet we reside on to take on this fight to save the world is Mr. Gore himself. There is no Candidate running, Dem. Rep, or Independent that has the knowledge or ability to lead except Mr. Gore himself. This Nation I realize is asking a lot but please Al drop your hat in the ring right after the first of the year. You could even possiable win on a write-in alone. I have heard others talking about you jumping in and run for President since early last summer. You have my vote.
