Title: A Gore Nader ticket anyone?
Description: Who here supports both Gore and Nader

:?: Why is nobody discussing a Gore Nader ticket? I am a strong supporter of Nader, an unreasonable man, however also a great American hero. Many voters have become jaded and apathetic about our current system of government, vowing for a revolutionary change to support the people. Could you imagine the support with these two great Americans aligned to take over the white house? I know that Nader has been criticized as a spoiler of the 2000 election. But if our election process could support a multi-party system we all agree this wouldn't of happened, if all of Nader's supporters could of had the chance to vote in a second round. Most of the resentment for Nader comes from within the Democratic party, when he is not to blame nor his electorate, while most democratic supporters support Nader's views! This is unreasonable! I would like to discuss this. If we could get Nader to run and support Gore, who here would not support that?

Nader was a great consumer advocate and should have stayed one.

In 2000 he took GOP money and used it to lie about Al Gore. In New Hampshire he swung the state to Bush. In Florida he help make the outcome so close the GOP was able to steal it.

If there is anyone one man that is responsible for Gore not being President, it is Ralph Nader.

No one here is discussing a Gore/Nader ticket beccause Nader is probably more responsible than just about any other single person (with the possible exceptions of Katherine Harris and the SCOTUS justices) for the fact that Al Gore didn't take his rightful place in the White House in January 2001.

Nader peddled his phony lies about there being no difference between the Dems. and the Reps. He inserted himself in a race he knew he had absolutely no chance of winning, all the while knowing that being in the race would very likely skew the results so the Republican candidate would win.

As James said, Nader had my respect in the '70s when he was a consumer advocate. He did good work. But all he has done as a politician is spread lies and upset the political process with extremely negative effects that have impacted the United States and the entire world.

You forgot the part about he has contributed to the rise of fascism in America by being a dork.
