Just voted and YES has 54% and MOSTLY POSITIVE has 59% out of 19,000 votes.
Not too bad.

It's where the story about Gore winning the Nobel is, in the rotating block on the left. Gore is totally blowing everyone out of the water! Go vote there too.

I hadn't even thought about Al Gore in "08 until this morning. I went online to see if there was any info regarding the possibility. I'm so happy to see people have gotten the ball rolling. I'm ready to teach my boys some lessons in civics now that there's something worth showing them. It's very exciting to think that maybe we could have a president chosen by the people. Not just someone voted in for lack of better options.

I would love to see Gore in the WH no matter the ticket or party affiliation. However, the problems with the unity ticket are 1) he has invested so heavily with the Democratic Party recently --he sent outs DCCC and DSCC fundraiser letters within the last three months -- 2) and such a scenario runs the risk of siphoning far more votes from the Democratic nominee than from the Republican one and thus improving the chances of Republican rule for 4 more years.
