Now that is very interesting!

Wow, thanks for posting that!

I am sure Al Gore is familiar with these dates, too.
Nagasakee - October 11, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
all good info, but understand that with the move up of so many primaries, these dates comparisons are not valid anymore for 2008. Some primaries moved up months...
IanOC - October 11, 2007 06:04 PM (GMT)
True, but Gore can use that to his advantage -- moving up the primaries, and the campaign, is a blow to meaningful debate in congress about the issues. All Gore has to do is point out what a sham the whole election process has become and pledge to reform the system and all these months that Clinton and Obama have been debating who has the judgment and who has the experience will be fantastically irrelevant.

Has nothing to do with 2008 because by Feb.5, the race will be decided for the democrats.
The super delegates decide the race. Terry McAuliffe saw to that.
of course, Al can wait till the June08 primary of the Unity08 party

Of course Al could use the SOOPER-DOOPER MIND CONTROL MACHINE and have all the other candidates endorse him. :P
Questions - October 11, 2007 06:40 PM (GMT)
Who will be allowed to be next president will be decided in the primaries.
I think big money is behind Hillary and will fight Gore. After all, Gore just might CHANGE something if he got in office.
Back in 2000, I don't think the control over the voting was as strong, witness the tactics to take the outcome to the Supreme court. And if you haven't seen Dan Rather's piece on what happened to the printing of some of the ballots in 2000, start here:
http://www.bradblog.com/?p=4960In fact, search Bradblog for lots of information about how voting has been taken over by big business.
It's not a Democrat or Republican issue- it's money.
People tend to focus on presidential elections and ignore the fact that who gets to run is decided way before then.
Witness the attempt to keep Ron Paul out of the spotlight in the GOP race.
Gore might run out of time given what's been happening to primary dates in the states. But more important, would those who control the Democratic party work against him?
If it was about true change for this country, the Dem leadership should be calling for Gore to run.
True change is going to begin with a change in the Democratic Party leadership, I'm afraid.

In 2000 the fix was in and Gore wasn't seated
They did it BEFORE the election, because they were ready to fight the minute the race was over
The Gore team was taken by surprise
In 2004, all exit polls showed Kerry won
Then the same thing happened
It was decided in the first Bush reign what was happening and it continues today
It is why only Al Gore can save the day and stop HillaryRodhamClintonBush44
and Jeb45

Gore has a machine too. Hillary knows that he does because so many organizations have not endorsed anyone yet. Examble: Labor Unions (I think that one has endorsed Edwards.) I heard Robin Williams say that he was waiting for the "big Guy" Larry King said who" He said, "Al Gore."
