Makes me wanna puke

I can't stand Evan Bayh worse than I can't stand Hillary Rodham Clinton Bush

But Fellow/dem- you will need to change your signature
Looks like Evan Red Bayh is taken
He is kissing Hillary's butt

But that is to be expected, given his votes to maintain all the status quo

Assuming that the offer to tell Polling Point what I think about Hillary is still at the bottom of this thread, that's just what I'm going to do.

I'm now editing this to tell you that there's an option to pick Gore as the candidate to vote for in one of the questions. This may be old news. It seems like I've answered these questions before in a longer survey. This one just takes about 5 minutes. Go ahead. Tell Hillary if you like or dislike her, but be sure and choose Gore when the question comes up.

While i was hoping that he would have chosen someone else, i had a feeling he was going to endorse her. Evan Bayh has been a friend of the Clintons for quite some time, starting when Evan and Bill were Governors (Evan of Indiana and Bill of Arkansas).

Regardless, i don't see how this affects what is written in my signature. Gore can still jump in, my opinion, and snag the nomination. Until he gives the sherman statement, or endorses a candidate, it'll still be possible.

But why would he pick a running mate who endorsed someone else? Bayh has now effectively joined Clinton's team, and specifically designated himself as a Clinton running-mate. What would he really bring to a Gore ticket? He's too far to the right to signal any change in this country, too timid to take a stand for progress. Gore can do much, much better than Evan Bayh. Leave Bayh and the Clintons to their third-way misguidedness. Gore needs to pick either Feingold or Obama (or, perhaps, as a dark-horse candidate, Schweitzer, although he'd be better in 8 years as Obama's veep).

I'd have to agree, this to my mind completely ends any possibility of Gore-Bayh. He's endorsed someone else...as they said in the movie "Aliens", Game over, man.
