I don't know if any of you guys in other states have any idea how FURIOUS us registered Democrats in Florida are right now at the DNC. I have already outlined my reasons for same in other recent posts, so I will spare you here, except to provide this excellent link which pretty much summarizes the sitch:

My question at this point is: Is there any mechanism through which a group of registered Democrats can oust the current leadership of the DNC? I want Donna Brazile's head on a platter with Howard Dean's next to it. Is there anything I can do? I'm ready to do it. Judging from comments by my fellow Florida Democrats, so are they (we, all of us!). The DNC doesn't want to count our votes? Then we will replace the idiots with that stance with actual Democrats. But how?

Okay and all righty then. Obviously no one cares except those of us in FL and Michigan. So I just called my local branch of the Democratic party to find out what to do to oust the DNC chair. I will report back here...not that anyone seems to care. But I care, so I will report back. I never had any reason to wonder how one ousts the DNC chair before. I feel pretty ignorant not even knowing how that all works in my own party, but I guess now is the time to find out. I guess it is a good statement about the Democratic party that I never had any reason to even wonder about it before.
