According to publisher Rodale Books, Gore will continue where he left off in "An Inconvenient Truth" and offer "a visionary blueprint for the changes we should make as a world community."
http://www.clevelandleader.com/node/2732Could Al Gore be the next laggard in?So why not now? It is hard to imagine that Gore will ever be as popular as he is now. He has been proven right about global warming. He has a sequel to his best selling 'An Inconvenient Truth' (entitled 'The Path to Survival') coming to stores in April next year which will put him right the spotlight once more.
http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_ke...the_2008_el.htmAl Gore: The 2008 election wild card. . . Al Gore supporters are looking at this race from the outside and critiquing all candidates from the "minor" candidates to the "major" candidates. Primarily, they are examining policies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Many are more than likely in fact examining John Edwards and Bill Richardson also. Supporters are taking each of those stances on the issues and each proposed policies and comparing them to Gore so that they can better promote a Gore campaign. And as they come to dislike those candidates more and more and become more hooked on a possible Al Gore run, what happens when he doesn't run? Do they choose the lesser of two evils and go for a popular major candidate? Or do they vote their conscience and go for a candidate like Dennis Kucinich?

http://www.truthandprogress.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=548Al Gore's 'Rope-a-dope' political strategyUntil his movie was released last year, throughout the past seven years, Al Gore kept (mostly) quiet and spoke out only when he felt that the Bush Administration's dangerous policies (war, budget deficits, corruption, etc., etc.) were harming the country's interests and, in doing so, subverting the US Constitution. He did so forcefully and with conviction. And time and again, he was proven right and his critics discredited. First it was the Bush Administration. Now it is the mainstream media. As the Vanity Fair article pointed out, even there, some in the media are beginning to have second thoughts about their handling of Gore. Will it result in fair coverage of him should he again become a candidate? We don't know for certain but, at least, many are fully aware of Gore's past treatment and, this time, he'll have many defenders on his side too. I do know this much: many have taken their best shot at Gore over the years and the result? Gore has emerged stronger and better prepared for future confrontations.
