I became a member of Al Gores movement a few months ago after watching the movie An Inconv. Truth. Since then I have been up on all the things happening including the 11th Hour, and 60 seconds to save the earth, and I am in the process of making an ad to complete my goals set when I watched the movie for the first time. Those goals set are the total of my worldly existance now. My father was a naturalist and worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish as a chemist and biologist for 40 years watching after the big business of mining and energy production and the effests they have on our environment. He wrote hundreds of letters, memos, and reports to many government agancies for 35years telling of the damage these industuries were doing to our environment, with little of no response or respect for the years of dedicated work done. It is one of my goals to step it up into my fathers foot steps and bring the truths to light that he dedicated his life to, for so many years. I just finished a four week tour of the Philippines with my wife who was born and raised there and is now an American. The things I saw there were heartbreaking and I vowed to help those people and all people of the world break free of the bondage, and oppression that the governments have imposed upon them and us as Americans as well. The power of big business has run the governments for years and has brought the world to the state it is in now. It is time however for all people of the world to come together and forgive the past things done and look to the present to solve the problems at hand. It is in the best interests of all concerned to work together towards a workable goal and come together with the means to stop the greed for monetary gratification and power, so that we as a world of nations can once and for all settle the problems at hand, not thinking of whats in it for me or them, but for all people as a whole. With the present day technologies we can solve a great deal of the problems if only the leadership of the governments would stop taking kickbacks, bribs, and gifts from the special interests, and look to what is needed to solve the problems caused by their looking the other way all these years. The quest for power and money has caused the rape of our environment to the extent that it is now going to stop us from hurting it. My father told me many years ago that our earth was a living things and that everything that was living on the surface were the same as parisites on animals, and that when they feed from and hurt the ecosystem to much that it would do things to right the wrong done no matter what. The earth has no emotions, or reason for what it does to support life, and it will take life away if nessesary without question. No matter how much we deny this fact it is still truth. Every second we waste not working on the problems caused by us in the past we come ever closer to the day when the earth will come to balance itself and we will be helpless against it. All we can do is lessen the impact by knowing that it will happen and be watchful and as helpful as possible. I started a movement to bring selfcontained solar housing to the Philippines. I purchased land to build the first prototype there ever and I am asking all those who read this to help me in any way possible to bring this to light. For if I can build the first one and the President of the Philippines understands what it will mean for their country and the future of it, they will grant permission to me to build subdivisions, and whole communities there using the technologies needed. 87% of the power generated in the Phililppines is coal and fuel powered. If I can bring solar powered self containment, the byproducts hydrogen, and methane storage will free the Philippines from the grip coal and fossil fuels powered generations have on it. This can become a model for many other nations as well as our own. It is time to think outside of the box and about this, the amount we spend on a cup of coffee and donut in the morning for just one day cuold fund a project like this and change the world forever. I can not and will not stop until I see the work my father started 50 years ago and Al Gore is doing now, finished. Our children and their children deserve and chance to live as we have. If we do nothing and follow the ways of our past destruction we can only imagine what it will be like for them, looking at the nature of things happening now. I beleive the future of mankind will be saved by a faith born not of words but of deeds and acheavements won by greedless devotion to humanity. Al Gore is on the right path and I shall follow that path as well, for my father walked that path as well all his 89 years. I hope and pray that we all can put down the years of oppression cast upon us and bring a new light to pass.
Thank you
