Title: Notice

Reverend Wally - August 6, 2007 01:23 AM (GMT)
Regrettably, due to an unreasonable Bill O'Reilly style reply to a post I made with good intentions, for those who care, after a few days of thinking about it, I have decided not post here in the AGSC forum any more.

God bless you all.

Sorry to see you go Rev. Wally.

Don't let the bastards get you down.
You see the truth, your voice is needed whereever you post.

I believe the post he was referring to was not made by Bill O'Reilly but by one of the Moderators and extremely insulting. It is also a post by this same Moderator that my postings will become so limiting.

It's your call of course, but come on guys :football:

I hope we can all get along and move on in spite of occasional criticism. This is a place for exchange of ideas. If you don't like what someone said about your post then say your peace. I don't think anything was meant as a personal attack.

It seems like there are quite a few threads started that stray away from the "Al Gore Support Center" basis of this site. While most certainly the transgressions of the current administration are topics that Gore himself addresses in "The Assault on Reason," I'm not sure that polemics bashing bush do anything to "support Gore."

There are plenty of sites out there in which to do that. I think it is important that visitors to this site find a positive, informational, supportive site stressing the positives of Gore, his contributions, and values. It is more important to add to the groundswell of support - to achieve that 'tipping point" at which he decides to accept the nation's plea to take charge - than it is to "rag" on the various grievances we have about what is happening to our government, our country, and our planet.

Wayne your right again. And since I do post all positive postings I can find on Gore and since I "rag" on the various grievances we have about what is happening to our government, our country, and our planet. In the proper section which this site provides for those things I will humbly bend to your wisdom. After all...It is Football.

I am not 100% over this, but will go ahead with my posts.

I think posting "Bush Bashing" is very important. He and his administration is based on Nazi principles and I believe that they are the worst of the worst criminals in our nation.

I do reserve the right, however, to retaliate to any further demeaning comments on what I post, especially if I do not insinuate that the post is a determined fact, in accordance with my instinct to be very aggressive and will not pull any punches at all.

I am saddened that we, who are supposed to be united in this quest, can find ways to be divided. This is a threat to Gore's potential candidacy for the White House, and it seems if we are on the same team, that everyone, especially a moderator, should use tact in their replies and commentaries.

I know, Wayne, that you have, and I will not forget that you even offered sort of an apology to tagging me as a troll when I first became a member here.

I may not be 100% in line with anyone's thinking, but I believe I do use logic and reason in what I think, believe, and say.

I'm back .... LOL

:P

I appreciate you coming back here Reverend Wally :D

And, you're right that many months ago, I got a wrong impression about you and wrote something that I should not have. I'm glad you accepted my apology and we have all benefited from you being an active Al Gore supporter.

As it stands today, Wayne, I consider you a friend and an ally against an evil administration.

We do, however have to maintain a unity in our quest or the evil ones will take advantage of the divisions where ever they see them. We must not let that happen.

Here is something for everyone to look at and use to educate themselves. Use discernment.

Rev Wally, I am sorry you took my response so to heart. I was debunking the scam that you posted - because that is what it was. I did not mean you were part of the scam.
I did feel it important to make quite clear that this website which was soliciting people's money for a get-rich-quick scheme was bogus. I tried to make it lighthearted, but did not want to leave it unchallenged.

I could picture someone like the clowns who made the issue over Al Gore's electric bill picking up on it and smearing him with it.

You posted it in good faith, and I did not mean to attack you for that. I feel very strongly that any site purporting to support Al Gore should be careful not to provide fodder to the O'Reilly's of the world. Look at the vendetta he has going against Daily Kos! He makes a big deal out of how all these "left wing sites" are full of hate. HA! he is an individual who thrives on hate.

So to everyone - please understand that my passion for Al Gore may occasionally bring out the pit bull in me, but try to roll with the punches. Call me out for being "too tough" if you wish.

PS: I just looked and see you deleted the original post, so I went ahead and deleted the thread. Now if we could erase the hard feelings as readily...
