Well .....
It was late in the summer of 2031.
I was standing there on my porch in my home in south central Florida and it had just come over the Wall-VID that a large section of Antarctica had slid from a bedrock location into the sea. It is a chunk about the size of Texas.
I then realized that they were reporting a rerun from a newscast about 4 hours earlier. I decided to hurry and get some stuff gathered up and head to higher ground.
This would mean that the climate crisis people were dead on.
I couldn't help but regret that Gore had not run back in 2008
While I was doing that, a broadcaster said that it had been just observed that a large mass of ice from the continent of Greenland had slipped, or is presently slipping into the sea. They are checking to see if it is more than one chunk.
Everybody ignored the section of ice field Northern Canada lost last month.

I did manage to get my basic survival stuff packed and am now traveling north on I-75 out of Florida and am almost to the Georgia state line. Some radio reports are that the coastline should feel the first effects in about 6 - 8 hours.
Traffic has become heavier.

I have made it to Monteagle Mountain in Tennessee and will just wait in this area until they have determined what is going on along the coastal areas. Many people have reported the coastline moving in as much as 2 miles in some places and it appears to be rising and moving in at an increasingly accelerating rate.
Traffic moving north is almost insane

I did get to sleep last night at a section where you can pull over and rest in a secure area.
This morning I am hearing that most of middle and southern Florida and much of the panhandle and south Georgia, So Carolina and many other areas close to that location, plus low areas all over the planet are reporting that 100s 0f millions of people managed to escape the flooding but that many lives, the number not know at this time, were trapped and drown by the quickly rising waters.
Many storms are breaking out around the globe, and it is even raining like mad here, but some of the residents here on the mountain are saying that heavy rains in this area are very common any way.
Occasionally the power goes out and the street lights go out.

This morning I arrived in Nashville and went to my friend's house and will be staying here till we hear something about what is going to be done.
Police units and some mercenaries have started to police the roads and the cities and set up check points all over at intersections, shopping center parking lots, bridges, major highway interchanges, and at all state border crossings and a triple deployment of Militia has been sent to help enforce a military law and a total control by the world governor.

Then I woke up ....
.... sweating and breathing hard.
.................. I looked outside.
. . . . It was a hot ... hot day.
The wind was blowing
.................................... and it was raining ... but it was still hot.
The radio announcer was saying something about a large chunk of ice doing something ...... somewhere ......
