I can't imagine enduring this "campaign" for another eight-nine months before we know who will be nominated, then another eight or whatever until the election!
Professional wrestling is more mentally uplifting!
I read Al's book for a while, then get a dash of the latest "breaking news" and just want to throw up.
The gang of thugs on the republican side is horrifying. The dems are largely a decent group. I'd like to see most of them as part of an administration set on fixing this mess. There are few, though, I would entrust to being in charge of that job.
I continue to feel Al Gore is doing exactly what he should. Whether he feels he "might", that he "probably will", "will", "won't", or whatever, he knows that no good would come from jumping into the mud with all this idiocy, and there is nothing to be gained from ruling it out 17 moths before the election. A lot can happen that would simplify his choice one way or the other.
I am impressed by his patience. He is a southern gentleman. He could just say "no comment" or "next question," the way HRC slapped C Matthews down over the scooter question. But he patiently gives the same answer, maybe adds a little joke or something to smooth over an awkward moment. He's just a class act.
Isn't it appalling to recall that the current illegal occupant (cio) of the WH actually ran on a theme of restoring integrity to the presidency? Tried to portray himself as a better person to accomplish that than our AG?
Incidentally, I notice that in AoR AG commonly refers to the cio as "Bush" - not "President Bush."
Hi dbciii :D
Eighteen months before the 2008 election and there is already some campaign fatigue :!:
For everyone rushing to have Al jump in before it's too late ... we might take a moment to be concerned about getting in too early. :coolwink:
I'm just personally sick of a continuous champagne. It's ridiculous. Why do we even waste money on their offices. I sometimes believe they run for congress so they will have a steady income while they run for president. God knows they don't do a thing after they take their congressional office except fund raise and champagne.
In my opinion they should be barred from running for any other office or any fundraising until they complete the job they just won. And I will never vote for anyone, such as the bogus Hillary, who claims they only want to serve their district in their congressional seat and have no plans for a run for President. But President is there only intent. Like I said...a paycheck while they run for President and don't do the job they were elected to do.
But then we're stupid enough to elect lawyers. And we all know how adept they are at screwing thing up and stealing your money while never finishing anything.
At least a prostitute will leave you along when you die. But not a lawyer, that's when he begins.

Bush's idea of "restoring integrity to the presidency" was rigging and stealing the election from the REAL president who has more integrity that anyone named Bush. Of course I'm referring to PRESIDENT AL GORE.
The Bush crime family and his cronies are nothing but a bunch of sick bastards with no consciences.
And as far as what I usually call Bush minus the four letter words is exactly what he is..............THIEF BUSH.
