Trash is what she is. :D

Dear Ann Coulter,
If your reading this please take your ad off of a site for thinking people and place it on one of the sites for mindless idiots.
That is after all where you belong.
Signed: Sick of those stupid young know nothing moron's like you and your listeners.
AlGoreFan - June 23, 2007 11:54 PM (GMT)
How lucky we are. First McCain ads and now Coulter ads. Those should really let people know what the Al Gore Support Center Online Forum is all about.
WHAT
IS
WRONG
WITH
THIS
PICTURE???
DIDN'T
SOMEONE
ALREADY
OFFER
TO
HOST
THIS
IMPORTANT
FORUM
WITHOUT
THE
ADS??????
I guess we'll never know why this was opposed. Things that make you go hmmmm ...
AlGoreFan - June 23, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)
Oh well, "Please send me Ann Coulter's article each week for FREE!"
The Al Gore Support Center Online Forum sent me.
earthmother - June 24, 2007 04:21 PM (GMT)
You will never get Chris Jackson to agree to take down this forum. I appreciate your offer to host a forum for us that would be free of these ads, but I think the further fragmentation it would cost wouldn't be worth it.
The ads are annoying, and obviously they're put here intentionally to create trouble for us, but I think we just have to ignore them. I kind of doubt it's turning anyone away or giving them the wrong idea.
earthmother - June 24, 2007 04:25 PM (GMT)
Okay, here's an option for you. If anyone cares enough about removing these ads and wants to pay to keep the board ad-free for a while, we can do that. I'll paste in below what the deal is with that:
| QUOTE |
Minimum Purchase: $5 Current rate: $0.15 per 1,000 page views. Expiration: Ad removal credits do not expire. Details: This payment system is through PayPal. If you would prefer to pay by check or money order please open a support ticket. If your ad removal is not instantly activated, please open a sales ticket and provide the Payment Transaction ID or Receipt ID. eCheck payments must clear before Ad Removal is enabled. Payments are only accepted in U.S. Dollars. All purchases are subject to the Terms of Sale. |

I'll donate to have this sorry example of a female gone. Her and Paris Hilton should share the same cell.

The biggest problem we're looking at is that at 30,000 hits a month, which I feel is conservative. If the cost is 15 cents for 1000 hits it's only $4.50.
If the cost is 15 cents for each hit it's $4,500.00. This is far more than I can afford.
Reverend Wally - June 25, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
It's probably best to just ignore her ad.
It sort of fires my blood up when I see her anyway.
At least it isn't Dubya's ugly mug we have to look at, and most people know McClain is a joke.
<_<
al001 - June 25, 2007 12:07 AM (GMT)
Agreed Reverend Wally, if she gets no hits maybe she'll just go away.
TNblue - June 25, 2007 02:55 AM (GMT)
Hey, if you click below the ad on the Google info. it says this:
Want your business to appear in Ads by Google? Try AdWords
* Reach people who are interested in information related to your products and services
* Drive new customers to your site in minutes
* Easily control costs - pay only for clicks that bring customers to your website
So, do you think they have to pay each time someone just clicks on the site? If so, let's click away and make 'em pay!
earthmother - June 25, 2007 02:56 AM (GMT)
How do you know we get 30,000 hits per month?

Yes, they do have to pay each time someone clicks on the site.
But I wonder . . . maybe they keep track of how many clicks come from which website, and that tells them which sites they're getting the most traffic from? If so, we'll be stuck with her ugly mug here forever! :!:

I'm just estimating because I get around 5,000 and I don't even advertise or use search words. In fact I only gave the site to 7 people a month ago.
Wayne in WA State - June 25, 2007 07:44 PM (GMT)
If I recall a month or two ago this came up when McCain ads started to appear. Didn't we find out that for a nominal fee this site could be free of these ads? At that time there was a thought to focus resources somewhere else but maybe that idea could be considered again. :?:
al001 - June 25, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
If she's charged by hits why not just open the site, then close it, then open it and close it. We might run up the cost until she sees it's not worth it.
Reverend Wally - June 25, 2007 09:25 PM (GMT)
It is obvious that somehow someone has pulled a string somewhere and now the Coulter banner is dominant on the ad section of THIS web site.
It is planned. I don't know by who, but I smell Karl Rove all over it ... and it smells real bad.
And ... I believe that the cost factor, as far as the neos are concerned, is not as important here as the visibility of the ad in this particular forum is.
All free forums have to go along with ads, but this is a criminal bending of the agreement.

I posted the info for what it would take to go ad-free. Al001 even offered to cover the cost, until he did some calculations and saw it would be prohibitive. Here's what the deal is:

She's a waste of time, Y'all. Maybe a nasty rotten infection with a multidrug-resistant bacteria will prove evolution to her. She reminds me of a birthday card my bother gave me a few years ago. It has a picture of an an ape with an expression of shock holding a mirror and slapping the side of it's face. The caption was, "Evolution, it's not for everyone." She's probably just jealous that she was left behind with the lower (and much less intelligent) life forms. --- Let her waste her money here. She's too dumb to know she's barking up the wrong tree. Sure hope she reads this, (if she can read).
earthmother - June 26, 2007 02:52 AM (GMT)
I had this paranoid thought . . . maybe the Invisionfree people are specifically posting ads for people they know we'll hate on our site to encourage us to give them money so we can be ad-free.

I can't explain Chris's absence, but I assure you it's not a matter of him not caring, same as Dylan's absence at AGO isn't a matter of him not caring. It's easy to make that assumption, but I'm quite sure that's not the case.
If you'd like to pay to make us ad-free, please let me know and we'll set that up!
I know of at least one other person who was willing to chip in as well.
Wayne in WA State - June 26, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
It is sort of perverse to have a sight promoting Al Gore display ads for Ann Coulter and her ilk. I would chip in some to make that go away if others would as well. How much each if a half-dozen of us pony up?

In my last count I got 5,000 hits in one month. If the cost is 15 cents foe=r each 1000 hits the ci=ost is only 75 cents. If it's 15 cents a hit the cost for 5,000 hits is $750.00

My question is, does SHE have to pay every time I click on her ad? I'll be happy to run up her tab a bit if she's buying.
al001 - June 27, 2007 02:15 AM (GMT)
I am. She usually shuts down after three or four but she does come back later.
ALGOREismylife - June 27, 2007 02:29 AM (GMT)
I accidently clicked on her lousy ad, but sure don't want to make a habit of it. The evil witch makes me sick. :D
al001 - June 27, 2007 02:32 AM (GMT)
Funny thing, she accepted the email subscribtions for coulter@bondage.com/@playboydays.com/@idiot.com and @faggot.com.
Hope they go to her.

AlGoreFan, I for one think you do have valid points.
I'm sure Chris Jackson does care and is a good guy. But it's true that for whatever reason he has not made this site one of his top priorities.
Chris does own the name of this site. I am not sure how this is done technically, but I presume we would have to get his permission to use the name and transfer the data to any other host other than invisonfree.
It's not up to me but I think Chris Jackson should be contacted to see what his thoughts are about this situation. I would also want to consult dbciii to see what his input is too.
Invision free is a for-profit company. It's possible they are placing obnoxious ads here so that we will pay to have them removed. Why wouldn't they? If Ralph is offering to host this site for free why should we pay invisionfree to have an ad-free Al Gore site?
:?:
earthmother - June 27, 2007 02:05 PM (GMT)
Well, Coulter has been replaced with an ad for Wisk laundry detergent.
I can live with that.
