This is not breaking news considering Bush's stance on this issue through out his entire term in office. But it does shine a bit of light on the insincerity of his resent statement about the pushing for conferences on greenhouse gas emissions. Still I do love the idea of his using the expiration of Kyoto as a reason for these talks considering the fact that he walked away from Kyoto very early in his first term.
And would someone in the king's house please tell senior White House adviser Connaughton that "At this moment" and "At this time" both mean the same thing as "At this moment in time." He doesn't need to make his meaningless statements any longer than they are... even if it's only with one or two unneeded words.
