Today's talk . . .http://www.nwprogressive.org/weblog/2007/0...appearance.htmlPostscript to Gore's (Seattle) appearanceTwo commenters have asked if there was a Draft Gore presence. Yes, there certainly was. Lots of people wore buttons and drove to the event with bumper stickers. Nobody interrupted Gore's talk to urge him to run for president.
http://www.seattlest.com/archives/2007/06/...n_town_hall.phpAl Gore's assault on Town HallAt this point I remember glancing around for a nearby exit because it seemed like Gore was going to start pointing at the media seats at any moment. "I'm not with these guys! I just snuck in here! Uh, go La-Rooouche!" But he flipped it again and started talking about the importance of protecting the neutrality of the Internet.
http://donkeyod.wordpress.com/2007/06/04/3411/The passion of Al GoreIf the country needs you, how can you not answer the call? He seemed taken aback. "Well, I respect the logic behind that question," he said. "I also am under no illusion that there is any position that even approaches that of president in terms of an inherent ability to affect the course of events."

Today's polls . . .http://www.usaelectionpolls.com/2008/artic...n-possible.htmlAl Gore continues to look strong in the national pollsI published the latest ABC News polls on the homepage yesterday. I did not really discuss the results of the polls because nothing really shot out at me as being any different from what we already knew. Well that was until I looked into the Al Gore polls and saw that he was clearly gaining support. He was consistently polling around 10% in January and now he is up to the high teens.
