On Wednesday night, the House of Representatives approved the change of course in Iraq the American public has been demanding.

It's been four years since President Bush declared the Battle in Iraq a "victory" on the war on terror, and we've seen violence escalate out-of-control, failed policy after failed policy - and we feel less, not more, secure.

establish clear benchmarks in order to hold the Bush Administration and the Iraqi government accountable;
ensure our troops the equipment, training and treatment they need; and
