Hi, I'm a 21 year old guy living in Phoenix, AZ. Al Gore is my favorite politician, bar none.

Growing up as a kid, I admired him as the Vice President of the U.S. Although I wasn't old enough to vote I followed the 2000 election closely and was saddened to see him cheated of the Presidency (Bush's inaugural was one of the worst days ever).

I have read some of his book "Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit". I have applauded his work for the environment and loved "An Inconvenient Truth". Nothing would make me happier than to see him RE-elected next year!

He is the only candidate that would prompt me to dedicate my time next year campaigning for him. I firmly believe he would make one helluva Commander-in-Chief.

I'll drop by here from time to time to see what everyone here has to say about this wonderful man.

Welcome The Goracle, and yes it was a very sad day when AL GORE was cheated out of the presidency in 2000. We all know he was the rightful winner of the election.

And yes, let's re-elect PRESIDENT AL GORE IN 2008.

Think it was bad for us? Keep in mind that the first time he ordered an air strike on Iraq was DURING his inaugural ball. Now that's a bad day.

And I too am happy to see more young people getting involved. That's the great thing about this place, most of the other (Dem) sites I have visited (notice I didn't say "joined") are full of "old timers" who seem to think they aren't alienating anyone when they shut down everything a new or younger person tries to say. I look at it this way, I want the younger people on my side because they will be voting for the people who will affect my retirement when the time comes! LOL

being trashed and burned.
