In case you hadn't heard the John Edwards for 2008 campaign has pledged to run a "carbon-neutral" campaign today. Good for him. More importantly, how is the public going to know about and care about terms like 'carbon-neutral' and 'carbon-offset'?
Through actions like this. Apparently Tom Vilsack pledged to run a carbon neutral campaign a short time before he withdrew.
Do to all the travel involved in a political campaign, Edwards has said he will have to purchase carbon offsets to make up for all the energy used in flying and driving around.
Let's see if a Republican will step up to this standard.
A good few days for Edwards. He gets to be slandered by Ann Coulter and then she gets slapped down and now this.
Gore-Edwards 2008...hmmm....
Yes and he was the 1st to turn down the Faux News debate.
But I'm still a GORE/OBAMA mama.
I'm somehow on his mailing list even though I have never donated money to his campaign. That's how I heard about it. But here's a link:

I'll vote for Al Gore/Squidward Tentacles in a heartbeat. Al's pick will be my pick. Sorry about Joe, but Joe Lieberman would have never become the politician we know today if he had became Vice-President. There would have never been an Iraq war for him to support. :spikey:
A lot of detail here:
http://johnedwards.com/news/headlines/2007...global_warming/Gor and his projects plus Edwards purchase offsets (and so do I) through
http://www.nativeenergy.com. Governor Tom Vilsack is the first presidential candidate to plan a carbon neutral campaign (also through
