Title: Hillary Accuses GOP of Election Fraud

Speaking to a bunch of union members at the New York state AFL-CIO convention yesterday, Hillary Clinton urged them to register as many new voters as they could, because she says Republicans will try to disqualify or discourage Democrats from voting. Huh?

More Florida 2000 sour grapes. The left cannot let go of their made-up fantasy that the 2000 presidential election was stolen from them. What you're seeing here is the excuse groundwork being laid by the Democrats in anticipation of a Kerry/Edwards defeat. They know he might not win, but they want to be able to accuse George Bush of stealing yet another election.

Besides, Hillary doesn't want Kerry to win anyway. 2008 is her time. She also said this: "This is an administration that believes America became great because of rich people ... that only people of wealth and means create jobs," Now Hillary knows that poor people don't create jobs. She knows that people don't seek out the poor when they're lookiing for work. Workers, maybe ... but not work. So, if Hillary doesn't believe that people of wealth and means create jobs, then just who does? Why the government, of course!

Hillary says that the Bush administration believes that America is great because of rich people. Hillary believes that America is great because of government. Which scenario feels more accurate to you? How, after all, do people become rich? By living the American dream, that's how. By taking advantage of whatever freedom and economic liberty might be left in this country, and using their willingness to work hard and make the difficult decisions to create wealth, both for themselves and for our economy. Think about this: It is impossible for someone to create personal wealth without adding to our national wealth and enhancing our economy.

There are many choices for voters to make in this election. One of those choices is just who you want to be creating jobs in our economy; the government or private individuals working to create wealth. Those not educated in government schools know the answer to that one.

More accurately put: private individuals struggling to make a living. I don't know what planet you and the rest of the Republicans are living on. Do you not see the multitudes of people around you who were laid off and are now working in some other job, like selling cheesecake by direct mail from their home, making far less money than they were before? And those are the lucky ones who have been able to find some way of making money. Many still haven't.

Also, there are some things that are sacred to us Democrats, and one of those things is the certain knowledg that the election of 2000 WAS stolen. The decision as to who would become president was NOT made by the people. It was made by the SCOTUS. Had they kept their hands out of state affairs (which is something conservatives are supposed to favor, btw), they would've allowed the Florida Supreme Court to handle the matter. The Florida Supreme Court was not going to hand the election to Gore. They were going to allow the legal counting of votes to continue. The SCOTUS put an end to that. So we will never know who actually won. It's possible that Bush might have actually won, but most accounts that actually count votes in the manner that other states do put Gore on top. The Bush Administration has shown repeatedly that it will lie, cheat, and steal--whatever it takes--to remain in power. They continue to do it now. Fantasy? Hardly. Nightmare is more like it.
