| Glad to see a member of "Skull and Bone" out of the race. |
Now, now...
I too am glad that Kerry is out of the race - but for three other reasons. 1. He wouldn't win, 2. Al Gore has one less obstacle to his own candidacy, and 3. Sen. Kennedy is no longer constrained to support Kerry as his MA. colleague (and if Al Gore runs, Kennedy would be a hearty supporter).
But I think Kerry was and is a fine man (despite his terribly mistaken war vote, and his not fighting hard enough against the 2004 electoral funny business), and I'm glad to keep him as my Senator, where I think he can be free to advocate against Bush, and for progressive values. He was so badly painted by Rove (an effete, wind-surfing, flip-flopping, unpatriotic, anti-war, anti-military, left-wing liar) that the smell still clings to him, unfortunately.
The Repugs have to make things black or white, and demonize opponents completely. Kerry doesn't deserve that.

whybaby, sorry about the missile. I fully understand your opinion of Kerry and I do agree with the fact that he is a noble senator. However, the amount of damage the Skull and Bones have done to this country is beyond comprehension and Kerry has never put an effort to expose them. JFK did and so did his brother Robert Kennedy, and both were killed by the dark siders. I do have a lot of respect for Dr. Teresa Heinz Kerry and if I had to chose between the two, she would get my vote.

I didn't take it personally, singh, but thanks for replying. I just don't know anything about that JFK and RFK assassination stuff (the Mob or anti-Castro, yes, Skull & Bones, no). And I don't know how anyone can learn about it, if no one opens up.
My confusion is: if Skull and Bones is so secret, how can we know WHAT they're doing? This is just a rhetorical question, unless of course YOU'RE in Skull & Bones, and can tell us everything...

unless our guy runs, Hillary will take the party nomination easily. IMO
Kerry has too much baggage to carry him even to a nomination much less a win.
I still think Al will announce he is running and will be sometime in May.
I think the poll numbers out there are misleading at this early stage. anything could happen to change them even to Hillary. But we will have to wait and see.

I am not qualified for Skull and Bones, primarily because I am vegetarian, and if I were to belong to a secret society, it would be more like Lettuce and Carrots.
Bush was wired during Kerry debates
http://dir.salon.com/story/news/feature/20...ulge/index.htmlSenator Kerry never raised this issue in 2004 campaign. Neither he said anything about blackbox voting and voter fraud in Ohio.

See the movie "The Good Shepherd" (Matt Damon, Robert DeNiro) if you want some creepy insight into Skull & Bones. Don't know how accurate it was (because supposedly it's secret, so how do they know what goes on there?), but it was very disturbing.

A couple of years ago on some radio station, I just happen to come upon a show about "Skull and Bones" and yes it was "creepy." It was after AL announced he wouldn't run in 2004. The guy was talking about Bush and Kerry and after he got done telling how evil S&B is he said, "it looks like we will be voting for Skull and Bones A and Skull and Bones B, meaning Kerry and Bush.
He went on to describe some of the horrible things they did, what they had to do when initiated in to S&B(it was gross). And it was the first time I ever heard the name Prescott Bush and when he said he was the grandfather of GWB it didn't surprise me one bit. He then went on to talk about how evil the Bush family was and still is.

I do think John Kerry is a fine and noble Senator and would make a very good President. I hope everyone who voted for Bush instead of Kerry in 2004 is hanging their heads in shame
Skull and Bones?? Sorry, I am not convinced. Sounds like the 9/11 conspiracy people to me.
What should have us all worried is if the reason Kerry had to pull out is that the press misrepresented one remark he made speaking to University students. If they can do that to John Kerry, they can do it to any Democrat. Shame on us for not backing him up against these clearly false attacks.
I have made no secret that I like John Kerry. If Gore did not run and Kerry did then that is who I would have supported, even if 90% of the rest of the Democrats disagreed
I guess the relevant question now is how will this affect Gore and the rest of the field. I would say that it helps Gore and probably Edwards, and will further erode Hillary Clinton. The field of anti-Hillary candidates is narrowed down. The field of experienced, qualified anti-Hillary candidates can be counted on about three fingers. John Kerry already supported Al Gore last month when he co-sponsored the 'See the Truth' movie parties for Al Gore and MoveOn.org
Thank you John Kerry and may you continue to be a strong voice in the Senate. :good:
