The first meet up in Fort Payne to help draft Al Gore will be held Feb,3 at Western Sizzlin at 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome if they are close enough to make it.

BTW, speedy, we had a task-force meeting yesterday at which we have greatly expanded our mentoring abilities. You'll be contacted soon by someone you can actually talk to and develop an e-mail relationship with who will stay with you to offer support throughout all of your meetups.
I think you'll find it very helpful.

Yay Speedy!
I just started the Trussville Alabama Draft Al Gore Group. Not to steal your thunder, but I thought the date for your first meeting looked so good, that I picked it too. The Trussville group will meet at 9AM at the local coffee shop on Chalkville Road. I thought I would see how our meeting turns out and then zip up to Fort Payne so we can brainstorm!

Amy, you've brought up a VERY important point.
Many of our groups that are within reasonable driving distance of each other are holding joint meetups, especially in the beginning when the groups are still small. I know that Diego (speedy) is having some difficulty getting people to join his group, so maybe the two of you would like to talk about holding your first meetup together? Since I don't know Alabama at all, I had no idea you were anywhere near each other.
If either of you wants the other one's contact info, just ask me. Or, you can handle it yourselves by PMing or e-mailing each other.

WOW! I didnt think just by me starting this meet up in Fort Payne, or anywhere for that matter, that anyone would do the same. :good: Thanks Amy! I would love to brainstorm anytime. I already joined your group and im gonna try to make it to yours too. I cant wait to get started! :clap:

And I've just heard from a couple in central New Jersey, near where I am, who want to start a meetup, so I think we'll be pooling our resources and going in together.

I have strong inside information that there's good news for us around the bend with Gore. Can't say anything more than that, but look for stronger rumors regarding a run in the near future.
