Title: Vote: Bush is the worst
ALGOREismylife - January 14, 2007 10:28 PM (GMT)
This is one vote Bush is actually and rightfully winning. He's the worst of the worst at a job he stole.

Wow. Bush is "winning" by a landslide.
But I'm disappointed to see that Carter is second in the "worst" category. Nixon was much worse than Carter, and he's way down on the list.
Rightfully, Clinton's at the top of the "best" list. :good:

probably because of the failed Iran adventure that he screwed up and also the terrible inflation double didgits he had to deal with or rather didnt deal with caused Carter to be up high on worst. I agree Nixon was worst but I guess people voting maybe forgot how much of a crook he was and Carter was at least honest although IMO incompetent.

This is my first post here on this site.
I would have to say that James Earl Carter is by far the worst of that list. However, worse than him was Lyndon Johnson. It doesn't add him, but he was.
Under President Carter's watch, inflation was at an all time high. Unemployement was extremely high. These two combined were known as stagflation. Furthermore, our international affairs were out of order. The Iranian deal. Taxes. The list goes on and on. Nevertheless, he is a great guy. He is a humanitarian. I can distinguish that.
What is really the only thing that make people dislike Bush, the most is the War In Iraq. Otherwise, there are other minor things to that. Oh, by the way, he didn't steal the election and until it can be proven that's a fact.
The economy is quite strong with jobs being added, but lost in other sectors. Unemployement is low just as under Clinton and with more jobs than when Clinton was in office. Not added, just more jobs totalled. Inflation is in check. Interest rates are decent.
As a Republican, these are issues I do have with Bush:
-Immigration Issues (All immigrants should do things legally)
-Healthcare (All American citizens should have this)
-Energy (Big Oil has an upperhand, but it's slipping)
-War In Iraq (Approach should have been more heavy handed as in over 300,000 troops being sent in=Powell Doctrine)
-Outsourcing (I believe in protecting all American jobs)
-China (They are taking advantage of us in every way shape and form)

Iraq is not the only thing that makes us hate Bush. Most of us hated Bush long before he started that war.
We hate Bush for having strong-armed his way into the Oval Office (like it or not, the people didn't elect Bush to be their president, and he wouldn't be in the Oval Office except for the highly questionable decision of the SCOTUS).
We hate Bush for his arrogance, for his cowboy diplomacy, which has taken us from being one of the most respected powers in the world to being a joke at best and a reviled entity at worst.
We hate Bush because he took a record surplus and turned it into an enormous deficit, and no, not because we're at war or because of 9/11. Bush's philosophy is that a balanced budget isn't important. Sure, it doesn't help that we're sinking billions of dollars into a hole in Iraq, but that's not the problem.
We hate Bush because he used 9/11 as an excuse to go to war with Iraq when he should have used it as a reason to go full-force into Afghanistan to get bin Laden and the real terrorists.
We hate Bush for many, many reasons, and there's nothing he could do now to redeem himself in our eyes. Not ending the war. Not getting bin Laden.
The only good thing he can do is get out of the Oval Office.

I have to disagree with you on this one. George W. Bush is by far the worst of the worst, he didn't even legitimately win either election. He stole both of them, with the help of his brother, Jeb Bush, Katherine Harris and a biased SCOTUS. Then he has the utmost gall to be an arrogant and obnoxious SOB abusing the powers and privilege he stole. This man has no conscience, cares about no one except his greedy, racist, lying, thieving self.
George W. Bush is not only the worst COMMANDER IN THIEF, he is a poor excuse for a human being. He would get my vote as number 1 on that list as well.
The only thing that could make me stop hating Bush as much as I do is if he were to resign and admit he stole the elections and also admit that AL GORE is the LPOTUS. Since Bush is a horrible man, this will no doubt never happen. I think I got a better chance of winning the state lottery Wednesday night.
