The Lakeland Lake Morton Draft Al Gore Meetup Group
wants to invite you to our first meeting

Let's do all we can to return the government of the United States to the regular true citizens of the United States, not just the rich and powerful with hidden agendas.


I am starting a meetup group for people of a like mind who:

1 ... Are concerned about the environment ... i.e., Global Warming etc

2 ... Want to do something that needs to be done to remove the threat that exists and has hidden agendas which are against the environmental issues

3 ... Would like to return the government of the people by the people to the people.

4 ... Are aware that Al Gore is the best person in our country to get this very necessary job done



I am inviting people from other cities so they can be made aware of this movement and can return to their respective cities to do the same in those areas. Please try to attend. I will inform everyone who to contact and what to do to join this movement.

Lakeland is showing almost no response.

I do not think it is that no one here supports Gore.
I tend to think this area is just plain intellecually lazy.

And the residents of Lakeland do lean toward the RED side just a bit.

Mind you, this is all conjecture based on what I have seen and heard locally. I intend to move back to Tennessee or some place in the central US as soon as I can save up the money to get myself, my daughter, and my grandson out of here.

I am going to keep trying to have meetings, but I am getting no help to get this going in this area.

You're not alone in this. It's a complaint I'm hearing from many of our organizers. It really depends so much on where you live, but it also has a lot to do with modern life. Everyone's so busy, so tired, and life is so hectic, that the last thing they want to do on a weekend or after dinner on a week night is go to yet another meeting. Obviously for people who work 9-5 every day this is a problem, but even for soccer moms and others, people are just so busy. I know for myself I've got meetings many nights a week for other things, and I hate it.

All you can do is keep trying.
