Way back in 1977 Tom Ogle designed a fuel system for an automobile that got 100 MPG from a FULL SIZED V8 powered car. This car had virtually ZERO emisions when measured by the devises of that time. Even though MANY respected experts of the time declared that the system did EXACTLY what Mr. Ogle said it did he could never get a patent or go into production. At that time Mr. Ogle had designed a modification kit that would change every car in the world to his system for $350.00 to $400.00 so that we all could use much less oil and create much less emisions. Of course this never happened and even though the system was documented in many tech and automotive magazines, newpapers, and TV reports the man became an "Urban Legend." Most people think it was a fairy tale and that the man and his 100 MPG car never existed.
Joseph Newman has the same sort of story. Mr. Newman created what is essentially a super efficient electric motor. When I saw him on 60 Minutes back in the mid eighties he had been powering his house with this devise for some time and showed the reporter the power bills where the power company was having to pay him for the eccess power he was generating. He has been mounting a grass roots campaign for years trying to create enough public awareness for his invention to force the patent office to take him seriously.
You know, If these guys are wrong and their ideas do NOT work, a few investors and a few consumers may get "Scammed" but if they DO work, the whole world would undergo a massive change for the better. Type either of these names into your search engine and you'll find many supporters and many who say they're insane. Go look and deside for yourself. Lee
