Odd question. Christians are welcomed here, as are Jews and other religious sects. We don't care what your religion is. But the focus of our board is Al Gore, not religion. That doesn't mean we never discuss religion. It's certainly come up. We just don't like being plastered with posts about religion that have nothing to do with politics or Al Gore. Are you a friend of the person known as alien2099 who joined here a few days ago? That person spammed us by opening about 7 new threads, each with one post, and each just more ramblings about religion. Not acceptable. I merged them all into one topic. Then he/she came back and did it again. I deleted those posts because it's not acceptable to continually open new topics in inappropriate forums that are unrelated to our discussions here.
That's the long way of saying that if you want to discuss Al Gore with us, we don't care if you're Christian or Jewish or an atheist or a Martian. We talk to and welcome anyone who is here for the right reasons.

Earthmother I dont know who that other person is. I have no intention of bringing religion into a political disscussion, unless it is relevent such as how do reach out to religous voters. Im here because I watched Mr Gores movie. he impressed me with his honesty, and concern. I see no way for him to champion a cause such as global warming unless he was convinced of its importance. I see no way for him to profit politically. so Im forced to come to the conclusion that he believes what he is saying. I havent seen that in a long while. I also heard that rumors are circlulating that he considering running.
My paranoia regarding religion is from reading some political boards. Some of the posters were very antichristian. I hope to be a valued contributer . I dont want to argue about religion here or anywhere else

I'm a Christian, and I believe in Al Gore. The Vice-President is also a Christian. He attended the Divinity School at Vanderbilt. After returning from VietNam, he enrolled at Vanderbilt.

Janetn, you will find nothing but friends here, and we welcome you. I don't know what other boards you're referring to, but we are extremely tolerant of people of all persuasions here.
Welcome to our community. :good:

Welcome Janetn, as long as you support AL GORE, it doesn't matter what your religion is. I don't see any problem. Yes, AL is a Christian, a real Christian, the caring and honest kind. :)
It's Bush's kind of Christianity, I have a problem with.

Of course your welcome here. We are a group made up of many different religions and many who have none but we have one goal and that is to make things right here in America for all. We believe the answer to that is by putting Al Gore where he belongs...in the White House.
Welcome aboard.
:D
