It is with great sadness that I am forced to admit that we are once again stuck with Rick Perry here in Texas...Mini-Bush rides again.

Do independents matter? If the votes cast for Independents here in Texas had been cast for a Democrat, Bell the Democrat and not Perry would have won.

Third-party candidates can always be a fly in the ointment.

Look what happened in CT, though. Lieberman, the Independent won. And also in VT.

What's wrong with Texas???? Don't they know how to vote????

This fiasco can be blamed on the three yes three independents. They wasted enough votes to put the Democrat, Bell well above Perry and that's even if a fair number voted Republican.
