Keith Olbermann just reported that last night Fox news pulled a really fast one. They were airing a story on Mark Foley, talking about how he's resigning, etc., and underneath his name it said "D-FL." The "mistake" was apparently pointed out to them and yet they didn't fix it, despite this not being a live broadcast.
You'll never convince me that it wasn't intentional, and I have to say, it was pretty low. <_<
holy cr@p!
that is just about as far from responsible journalism as you can imagine.
talk about being a mouthpiece! and of course they would plead "innocent mistake"
 :spikey:
Pulling this blatant crap smearing Democrats on a topic as serious as members of the House of Representatives sending perveted e-mails to minors has got to boomerang back and damage the reputation of Faux News even among their regular viewers. If anyone had any pretense that these people are 'fair and balanced' this should seriously undermine such a viewpoint.
Realistically there are a lot of people who have been told over and over and over and over again that the MSM is some Liberal Hollywood conspiracy :dripple: Yet even among these folks they are repulsed by Foley and will be repulsed by Hastert if it can be shown beyond reasonable doubt he was engaging in a cover-up scheme just to promote Republican politics
Hold on, he was abused as a child, he is an alcholic in rehab, he is coming out as gay. Has not this same crowd mocked these excuses for anyone who does not agree with them politically? :turtle:
You can't fool all of the people, all of the time :chicken:

I saw Bill O'Reilley actually say that he believes Fox is fair and balanced, and his proof of that was that more of their guests are liberals than conservatives. Well, there's an easy answer to that: They put the liberals on to roast and make fun of them, so of course they have more of them on than conservatives.
Leave it to Fox. I heard this last night and I'm saying to myself, what kind of BS is that? I had a feeling it was said on purpose. Republicans are a disgrace. :bad:
