Title: NBC vs The New York Times
Description: Which is true?

First NBC reports this:

QUOTE (GSC Admin @ Jul 26 2004, 06:21 PM)
Al Gore's speech was basically torn up, according to two sources, and is now being rewritten, presumably to fit more closely with the party line. The other challenge tonight is to avoid having two Democratic party stars.

Then the Times reports this:

QUOTE (GSC Admin @ Jul 27 2004, 12:56 AM)
Mr. Gore's experience may have given him latitude denied to others: while Kerry advisers vetted all speeches for egregious Bush-bashing, they did not change a word of his.

These statements are totatlly opposed. does anyone have any idea who's telling the truth?

That is the question. I heard both of them. MSNBC was saying that all day, yet CNN was saying the oppo.

So it's CNN & The New York Times vs. MSNBC. All have had credibility problems particularly in regard to Gore.
